During a real estate and architectural tour of the city, I chose to have lunch at a local Asian restaurant to explore the local offerings. I ordered Phnom Penh soup and stir-fried noodles with beef. Unfortunately, the dishes lacked depth and authenticity; the flavors seemed rather bland, a far cry from those one can enjoy in Paris's Chinatown in the 13th arrondissement. The service was rushed, undoubtedly due to the constant crowds and the queue at the entrance. The prices were reasonable, but overall, the experience was disappointing.

Sad and disgusted... I came on a Saturday night hoping to taste the lok lak I've known for the past three years. It had been six months since my last visit, and I was expecting the lok lak I considered the best I'd ever had. I realize the recipe or the cook has changed; gone is the braised, caramelized meat... now they just stir-fry it. I had found a competitor at Royal Torcy, and I'm gutted. It was the best lok lak at Villa Bussy, but now it's over.

Honestly, I was very disappointed with this restaurant. It was recommended to me by several people, and I ate there twice. I was disappointed both times, and I don't recommend it.

The cuisine is truly close to gourmet and certainly the best Chinese restaurant in eastern Paris. I love their Peking soup, which is the best I've ever eaten.

As is customary at Christmas, the storefront was beautifully decorated and brightly lit. The service was warm and very quick. The dishes were generous and delicious. Honestly, it was a real treat! My duck with fragrant mushrooms was meltingly tender, and the mushrooms were perfectly juicy. This is a place that won't disappoint, just like the food! My only complaint: the restrooms.
