Sad and disgusted... I came on a Saturday night hoping to taste the lok lak I've known for the past three years. It had been six months since my last visit, and I was expecting the lok lak I considered the best I'd ever had. I realize the recipe or the cook has changed; gone is the braised, caramelized meat... now they just stir-fry it. I had found a competitor at Royal Torcy, and I'm gutted. It was the best lok lak at Villa Bussy, but now it's over.

Honestly, I was very disappointed with this restaurant. It was recommended to me by several people, and I ate there twice. I was disappointed both times, and I don't recommend it.

The cuisine is truly close to gourmet and certainly the best Chinese restaurant in eastern Paris. I love their Peking soup, which is the best I've ever eaten.

As is customary at Christmas, the storefront was beautifully decorated and brightly lit. The service was warm and very quick. The dishes were generous and delicious. Honestly, it was a real treat! My duck with fragrant mushrooms was meltingly tender, and the mushrooms were perfectly juicy.
This is a place that won't disappoint, just like the food!
My only complaint: the restrooms.

I've been going to this restaurant for over seven years. The food is truly delicious and authentic—my Cantonese family approves, as do those from Asia. They immediately mentioned the "wok hei" (basically, mastering the art of wok cooking over high heat). We often order the stir-fried rice noodles with beef, the mixed vegetable noodles, the mutton hot pot, the steamed tofu stuffed with shrimp, the chicken Kai Cai, the wonton soup, and so on. There are even dishes you don't easily find elsewhere, like the quail legs stir-fried with duck egg yolk. I highly recommend all of these dishes!
The service might seem a bit rushed or different from French standards, which can be true, especially when it's busy, but personally, I've always found the servers very kind and welcoming. Those who criticize and give one-star reviews without any justification must have no patience or tolerance.
On weekends, the restaurant speaks for itself: it's often packed, with a majority of Asian customers, which I think is a pretty good sign, don't you?
In short, this restaurant doesn't deserve the wave of negative reviews it's receiving. Don't be afraid to try dishes that are a little out of your comfort zone!

Every time I go, I ask for certain Cantonese/Hong Kong dishes, like rice pancakes, which is a unique specialty I eat all the time back home but never get around to making because of "no time." At some point, I think you need to stop taking your customers for a ride and update your menus, removing dishes you no longer make because you've lost track of them due to staff and ownership changes. On the other hand, the quality of the food is extremely good; it's a real shame to tarnish the reputation of Hong Kong cuisine. I get the impression it's more Cambodian/Vietnamese than Cantonese... but hey, the restaurant survives because of its wide variety. It's a specialty that's disappearing in the Île-de-France region. Meanwhile, people complaining about the €8 prices, etc., back in the day... The economy evolves, we don't stay in the Stone Age, and inflation/the market justifies the charges and the prices are very reasonable, I challenge you to open a restaurant for more than 3 years.
