26/08/2024: I was eaten in this charming little restaurant by chance and I was not disappointed! The dishes are homemade and it shows on the plate. The entire service team is smiling, very pleasant and so kind. The terrace dotted with lights immerses us in a wonderful moment of relaxation.

18/10/2025: We reserved a table for our motorcycle ride. First of all, the welcome was warm. The meals were unanimously praised, all very good.
I sincerely recommend this very friendly and professional place.
I will return.
23/09/2025: While on vacation in Ardèche, we discovered the Post Office café-restaurant in Ruoms. On the terrace watching the OM/PSG match (a crazy atmosphere), we enjoyed a homemade punch... (and a second, a killer one!) with a delicious four-cheese pizza.
Given the friendly atmosphere, we came back to eat the daily special and try their burgers... a real treat at a very reasonable price. If you're passing through Ruoms, don't hesitate; it's open year-round.

06/07/2025: We went there tonight, not many people. Good meal. But a 45-minute wait between the aperitif and the main course. Error on the main course (4 errors out of 5 tables) so we wait, the ordered dish arrives but not the cutlery and no waiter upstairs so another 10 minutes of waiting...we can finally eat. We ask for the bill and we are asked to go down to the counter and there are 8 people waiting to pay so we wait again. Finally it is our turn and when checking the bill, another error, we are charged for wine that we had not ordered. And of course NO EXCUSE. Run away!

Nous avons vécu une expérience culinaire désastreuse dans ce restaurant.
Viande immangeable : Mal cuite, caoutchouteuse et sans goût, un véritable scandale.
Pizza : Sèche et sans saveur, une insulte au palais.
Omelette fantomatique : Tellement fine qu'elle a disparu dans l'assiette, assaisonnement inexistant.
Comment un tel établissement peut-il encore ouvrir ses portes ? Les avis négatifs pleuvent, et pourtant, rien ne change.
Fuyez ! Un sandwich acheté en boulangerie sera bien meilleur et vous évitera une immense déception.
L'accueil est tout aussi à revoir : les serveurs semblent agacés par les questions des clients.
Seul point positif : la terrasse ombragée. Mais franchement, est-ce suffisant pour justifier une telle médiocrité ?

01/09/2024: Habitués des lieux du temps des anciens propriétaires, nous avions envies de découvrir la nouvelle carte etc…malheureusement ça n’a pas été possible de boire un verre malgré une terrasse presque vide car priorité aux personnes qui désirent manger… dommage pour vous.
Verdict une heure plus tard, la terrasse était toujours aussi déserte par rapport à avant… bref, très mauvaise stratégie !
31/08/2024: Le cadre est classe mais c’est tout … tripadvisor ! Mettez vos photos et cartes à jour ! Adieu les burgers mythiques ( Elvis, Marley etc) les salades originales et le ice tea maison… qui ont rendu ce restau très fréquenté la carte n’a plus rien à voir …tombée dans un classicisme malgré des produits de qualité

03/08/2024: very nice food in a beautiful atmosphere.
We had as a starter the ceviche (yum), avocado toast (huge salad with roasted bread and nice guac) and the thai gaspacho (also yum)
As main we had the shrimps (nice) and 2 of us had the orzo risotto. My daughter said one of the best dishes she ever had!

Chaque plat est une agréable surprise.
Service aux petits soins.
Je recommande et y retournerai avec grand plaisir!

23/08/2024: Tout était parfait du début à la fin, de la cuisine au service.
Épicuriens et habitués des tables étoilées, une vraie surprise de découvrir ce trésor au cœur de l’Ardèche. Un service parfait alliant gentillesse et professionnalisme, une cuisine digne d’une distinction, un cadre parfait, de tres bonnes maisons viticoles à la carte.Bref à faire et à refaire sans modération.
20/08/2024: Voilà déjà plusieurs fois que nous mangeons dans ce restaurant la cuisine y est excellente les menus variés et l’accueil très sympathique si vous passez par ruoms n’hésitez pas !!
