04/11/2026: Everyone knows Diner, the one in Valence is at least in terms of decor, what you would expect to find there. The service was a bit of a letdown. I went to this restaurant alone, and they seated me at the best table in the entire restaurant: right across from the toilets, while the tables next to it were empty...frankly, it was pretty poor...I was alone, but I felt like a leper. I ordered a can of Pepsi so I wouldn't have to drink their unlimited flat Pepsi, and I received a glass of Pepsi (with very little fizz). The Halloween cocktail was supposed to be free, but I didn't want it, and they still charged me €4 for my measly Pepsi (it was listed as 33cl on the bill, so why serve me this limp glass???). And when I asked to have my bill charged to my loyalty card, instead of offering to refill it, they were condescending because it wasn't in the system anymore since I hadn't been...Why??? 😒 Anyway, €24 (!!!) for a meal deal with a hamburger Really basic (no more coleslaw with fries...), a Coke and a glass of wine, that's an expensive diner experience... What raised my rating were the servers, who were quite kind and welcoming, despite everything... It's a shame, I really liked this restaurant, but I don't think I'll be going back...😥

20/10/2026: I'm very disappointed today. I've been there at least 20 times in the last three months, and today they charged me €1 for a pre-made sauce in exchange for two sauces I don't like. I paid €40 for my meal, and the manager on duty today couldn't even offer me a free sauce. Before today, I never paid for this sauce exchange. I'm not chasing after the €1, but I find it unacceptable to charge €1 for a sauce. That's why I gave it two stars instead of five. Overall, the restaurant is superb, the servers are great, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I recommend this restaurant 100%.
