23/08/2024: Good morning,
I would like to convey my dissatisfaction following this lunchtime meal at the Buffalo Grill in Abbeville.
However, we are loyal customers of the chain and this restaurant.
When we arrive, we wait 10 minutes before being seated (completely normal).
We finally wait a long time for someone to come and take our order.
1h43 there with 3 children when we wanted to eat quickly…
As soon as I take my order, I ask the waiter about the offer 1 menu purchased = 1 free kids menu that we usually have on Thursday evenings there.
He tells me that it works and that for each adult menu purchased, we will have a free kids menu.
So we order 3 adult menus because my husband is a good eater and the 3 kids menus.
And... a very, very long wait while the restaurant is far from being full... a carafe of water which arrives only by going to get it at reception...
So I ask for the dishes twice… 55 minutes later it arrives! Yay
Except that my daughter's kids menu is "lost", my son has fries instead of baked apples, I don't have the sauce requested extra when ordering.
So we start eating separately.
From there my daughter's menu arrives, without a spoon for the baked apple..., so I get up to go ask.
The atmosphere therefore begins to become tense at the table with the children.
The sauces are cold, so I didn't touch the sauces.
So I order the desserts directly which will take at least 30 minutes to arrive (restaurant almost empty)
When it was time to order desserts, my daughter's menu was nowhere to be found, I was told that there were only two kids' menus... so I was really upset!
The waitress finally found a solution for my daughter's dessert
I had a very bad time and came out of it angry.
So we decide to go and pay by eating the desserts in the car because we're really upset.
And the surprise at the checkout, the kids menus charged!!
Although I had asked the waiter for the welcome salad.
So I expressed my dissatisfaction to the manager who, after a long discussion, gave me a 10% discount!
But what a shame.
To entice customers with an offer by telling them that it’s good, only to rip them off at the checkout during payment.
Life today is not easy financially for everyone, if I came here it was to take advantage of the offer and not waste two hours with 3 children in a restaurant.
From there I found myself paying for 3 supposedly free menus, I had to get up countless times, I lost 2 hours, everyone was angry and I ate badly! It was supposed to be a fun meal… too bad for you we were good regular customers
Not believing the customer is a real shame...
21/08/2024: Welcome and atmosphere at the top, we came as a family and evening for my birthday from start to finish we were very well received, the menu offers a very large choice there is something to be tempted. The kids had extra generous portions. Even us for the bison steak and the ribs with the accompaniments it was a treat. Thanks again to you for this evening and most of all the music of the little Indians for the final bouquet with the chocolate cake offered but above all with the dancing with your waiter Jeremy who has a vitality and a contagious joie de vivre the very smiling waitresses that makes really pleasure, we will come back. Thank you for this beautiful evening and this beautiful memory which will be engraved, it is very rare these days in other restaurants, to have all this human warmth which is sorely lacking and you all overflow with it, thank you again. 🙏❤️😁❤️.
