24/04/2026: Parking was complicated, and personally, I wasn't convinced by what I was served in the food.
20/04/2026: Perfect! The welcome and service were top-notch. The owner and servers were attentive, available, and very pleasant. The dishes were generous, beautifully presented, and of very good quality, all at more than reasonable prices.
I highly recommend it for a simple and enjoyable experience. Don't change a thing, it's perfect!
P.S.: The pizza dough was amazing! =) Thanks again.

19/04/2026: The view is sublime, the peace and quiet are absolute, the staff are friendly and attentive… and what can I say about the couscous? Absolutely wonderful!!! We'll definitely be back 🥰

16/01/2026: There was very little wait to be served, and the staff was vaguely professional, but nothing alarming so far. After waiting about 15 minutes, I was served a "tartare" that was supposed to be hand-cut, but I think the establishment uses an axe, judging by the size of the pieces… The dish was simply inedible: the meat wasn't good quality, the sauce wasn't suitable for a tartare, and the pieces of Parmesan were enormous. I don't usually complain about the food I'm served, but here I felt compelled to point it out to try and get my €24 worth. The waitress condescendingly informed me that everything was perfectly fine and that people usually loved their tartare (which I doubt). The gesture of offering me this famous tartare (which I barely touched) seemed appropriate, if only the waitress hadn't been bragging about it in front of the entire restaurant! Frankly, I don't often leave reviews for restaurants, but this one is best avoided.

09/09/2024: Siamo andati in questo ristorante dopo aver letto qualche recensione . Appena entrati , beh volevano già andare via per via del disordine , dell approssimazione e poca pulizia . Il personale cerca di farsi capire anche tramite una lavagna dove è riportato il menu . La carne pressoché cruda , pizza senza pretese . Il tavolo di legno appiccicoso da morire !!!
18/08/2024: Très bon moment pour manger dans un bus, Atypique, la qualité et la simplicité se marient Pour apporter un moment très agréable. Les plats sont savoureux généreux. On y va également pour l’ambiance et surtout l’environnement. Rien à dire c’était parfait.

Restaurant Ecuries de l'Aube

05/02/2024: Le Kabanon is a restaurant which is part of the Écuries de l'Aube complex situated in the countryside of Saint-Marc-Jaumegarde approximately 5 km west of Aix-en_Provence. The restaurant is tucked away in one corner of the road leading up to it. The parking lot is far away from the restaurant and one must be carefull when walking to it in the dark. Their menu is varied and offers local cuisine. It is worth the visit if you're in the area.
12/12/2023: Très beau cadre, au calme. Parfait pour l’été avec l’extérieur et les deux piscines. En revanche, le personnel pourrait être plus sympathique, personne ne les a forcé à travailler ici. C’est dommage, cela enlève beaucoup de charme à l’endroit. Certains plats étaient plutôt bons, d’autres pas terribles … endroit prometteur qui mériterait un peu plus d’attention.
