18/04/2026: I'm giving one star for my Too Good To Go experience.
The portions were huge, and the food was very good, but the selection was extremely limited: for starters, there was sushi, shrimp fritters, shrimp salad—basically, only fish.
As for meat starters? Only one spring roll and two samosas...
When you have two children and an adult who doesn't eat fish, you practically had to cook something else. 90% of the starters were fish. Very disappointing for those who only got a few scraps of meat.
The worst part? I specifically ordered two "zero-waste" baskets to make sure I didn't end up with only fish, and both baskets were identical! Fish, fish, fish... Nothing was done to make the baskets different.
Furthermore, I ordered from an Asian restaurant, so I expected at least some rice as a filling, which is the bare minimum... and no... I received a whole tray of fries...
So, reheated cold fries are not my thing... sorry... I'm shocked that they put cold fries in my basket; they'll be inedible at home.
If I want fries, I'll cross the street from your restaurant and go to McDonald's.
I think it's the bare minimum to include Asian products when a customer orders a zero-waste basket from an Asian restaurant.
Putting fries instead of rice is disrespectful to the customer.
I certainly won't be ordering from them again.
Very disappointed.
26/03/2026: I'm giving one star because I can't give less. I'm in a wheelchair, and this isn't my first time here. I've never had a problem, but today the owner wouldn't let me go to the buffet to serve myself. He told me to send my friend instead. I went to get my food, and I want to emphasize that I was absolutely NOT blocking the way; everyone was moving around normally. But the owner saw me and came over to tell me, "Once is enough. Your friend is going to get the food for you. Next time you serve yourself, I won't allow it." I know the owners; I've been here before with friends in wheelchairs who also know them very well. But when there are other customers, am I supposed to be treated like a second-class citizen? Wanting to make a profit is fine, but having a sense of customer service is important too. I won't be back.
Following up on the owner's response—there are two reviews because there were two of us, which makes sense. As for the ridiculous excuse "it's to ensure the children's safety," who exactly are you kidding? I'm in a wheelchair, not a tank. I went to get some food and I didn't hurt anyone, did I? Ridiculous.
