18/08/2026: What can I say, except that we were very disappointed with our Sunday family lunch… and that's putting it mildly. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was nothing short of appalling, quickly setting the tone. As for the meal, it was another huge disappointment: a menu that essentially consisted of an aperitif, a main course, and a dessert, offering no real pleasure or surprise. The cod was bland, without any sauce, and served with equally tasteless rice. For a birthday lunch, we expected a little more attention to detail. Not even a candle to mark the occasion… In short, for a birthday celebration, forget about a festive touch. And then there's the infamous dance floor… or rather, the battlefield! It was monopolized by the regulars, who seemed to consider other customers intruders, with nudges and unfriendly remarks to make it clear we should give them space. We were also told there would be an extra €10 charge for access to the dance floor, which we ultimately didn't pay. And thankfully so, because given the state of the floor, which looked more like the battlefield of Verdun than a dance floor, we were more likely to sprain an ankle than enjoy some good rock music! In short, a frankly unpleasant experience: a cold welcome, a tasteless meal, an unfriendly atmosphere, and the dance floor monopolized by the regulars. We had come to have a pleasant time with our family and celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately, we mainly took away one thing: it's definitely not an experience we want to repeat. It's a shame, because with a little more hospitality, quality, and friendliness, the day could have been very different.
