13/08/2026: Beware, never book a room here without free cancellation, even in error. We were on a 6 hour drive from Italy on our way to Spain, we in error booked a room for the 6th Aug instead of the 3rd, we arrived 90 minutes after making the booking, they pointed out that the booking was for the 6th, we asked them to change dates to today (the 3rd) they said they could book us a room but we would have to speak to booking.com for a refund for the 6th. They then gave us a price which was €30.00 dearer than the other booking! We immediately contacted bookin.com who emailed and telephoned the restaurant to request they refund us and waive and fees. We left in the morning and received an email from booking.com informing us that the hotel had refused to refund us. This is nothing less than Profiteering from a genuine mistake, we didn't simply book and cancel, we were at their hotel arranging a replacement room! Booking.com have no further leverage (so they say). A very nasty case of sharp practice. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

04/06/2026: Hotel located on a very busy road, so there's a lot of noise until 1 a.m. and again from 5 a.m. onwards. The room was run-down and didn't match the renovated photos on the website. Dinner was passable (pizza not recommended). Cleanliness was minimal, barely acceptable. Conclusion: Avoid
