La Storia Importante
Gallargues-Le-Montueux
24/09/2026: The service at this family-run pizzeria is exemplary, with a warm welcome and friendly service. The menu offers a wide selection of pizzas and other dishes, all prepared with high-quality ingredients. A welcoming place that I highly recommend for a great time!
21/09/2026: Very disappointed by this experience.
We had reserved a table, but upon arrival, it wasn't ready, and our reservation didn't seem to have been registered.
The quality of the food was really lacking. I ordered a "complete" crepe, which contained only two small pieces of ham, a huge amount of Gruyère cheese, and above all, a lot of fat. For the price, it was clearly very disappointing.
Another major negative point: we ate in full sun at lunchtime, in temperatures close to 35°C (95°F). We were so exposed to the sun that we started to feel unwell. When we mentioned this, the waiter's response was simply: "We're in the South, it's hot." Having lived in the South myself for 20 years, I find this response particularly inappropriate and, above all, unprofessional. A solution, or at least a little understanding, would have been appreciated.
Unfortunately, between the quality of the food and the service, this experience has not made me want to return. Very disappointed, I will not be returning, even though I used to be a regular customer.

La Renaissance
Gallargues-Le-Montueux
01/09/2026: Very warm welcome, friendly atmosphere and good, generous portions.
06/08/2026: I’ve been going to Gallargues since 1985 and this year, the bar was closed. The centre of the village is dead without this bar, a real tragedy. The Saladelle was also closed. Very sad

Bar Le Vendran
Gallargues-Le-Montueux
14/08/2026: I ate there with my son, it was a pure delight. The prices were very reasonable, the portions were generous, the food was fresh, the service was impeccable, and frankly, a three-course meal for just €18 is simply wonderful. We will gladly return.
06/08/2026: Excellent lunch spot.
Unbeatable value for money.
High-quality food and top-notch service.
I'll gladly return.

La saladelle
Gallargues-Le-Montueux
06/08/2026: UPDATE: A response 9 months later, with just a smiley face, clearly demonstrates your utter incompetence. What a shame.
Very disappointed. Saturday evening at 8 pm, the waitress took our order and told us there would be a bit of a wait, yet the restaurant wasn't full. And indeed, we waited. The burger was good, admittedly, but the "gourmet salad" was far from it. The sautéed potatoes were nothing more than fries cut into chunks, and as for the fried egg, well, it was actually a hard-boiled egg. Given the wait, we didn't order dessert. And when it came time to pay the bill, oh! The credit card machine was broken, just like Christelle's comment a week ago. Strange, I had a job for 7 years and the card reader never broke down!
I don't know if there has been a change of ownership, but there are major improvements to be made if you don't want to go bankrupt!
28/04/2026: We used to eat there regularly under the previous owners… but unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our last dinner there under the new owners. What a shame…
