15/09/2023: We came on Saturday evening September 9, the restaurant was full, and despite everything the staff found us a table, (there were 6 of us, so not easy) outside, great it was very hot. We had a wonderful time, ate very well and for my part discovered a curaçao and Malibu cocktail😁, the young woman who took care of us was great. We will come back.

The Pizzaiolo is really very unpleasant, the welcome is atrocious, we have the impression of disturbing this dear gentleman who allows himself to sigh in our presence when we place an order!!!
What a lack of respect!!!
Two pizzas are so hard to make!!!
What must it be like in peak season if it is already overwhelmed!!!
In addition, the pizzas are way overcooked and almost inedible!!!
Low-end topping and dough worthy of mass-market pizzas!!!
This is a shame for a price that is not particularly affordable!!!
This is the worst pizzeria in Deauville.

Small, nice restaurant on a quiet square with parking nearby.
The starter took a little time to arrive but the apologies of the staff, the quality of the dishes as well as the atmosphere, the smile of the staff made us forget this slight “inconvenience”. The copious plates, the diverse musical background, we skipped dessert and coffee….no more room 😂

27/12/2023: We came across this brasserie in Dover by chance and we were delighted! Starter, main course and dessert at a very reasonable price using the choices of the day, friendly and fast service, very good dishes and a beautiful restaurant...what more could you ask for?

14/03/2024: Eating here was an amazing experience. The three different pizzas we got were all fantastic. The service was friendly and when we tried to speak French they accommodated us by speaking English. We were only the second party there, and the server/owners were amazing and we had great conversation about the area. The restaurant is on a next to a river in a quiet village and also next to a church. It was warm and quiet outside while we ate, and it added to the amazing experience, especially when the church bells rang. There’s seating inside, but not much so make sure to book. There was seating outside as well. I highly recommend La Picota!

31/03/2024: A bit of a wait as the place is quite busy, but not at all disappointed!
I paid €7.50 for a kebab/fries, telling myself that there wouldn't be much to eat for the price (compared to the price/volume ratio of kebabs in Caen for example), but I was very pleasantly surprised when I got home!
Very generous with toppings and fries, it's perfect.
I'll be back !
