27/05/2026: A wonderful experience at La Scarpetta! The host was incredibly gracious, warm, and attentive throughout our visit. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the level of care and attention we received made us feel truly welcomed. What made the afternoon even more special was how the host took the time to guide us on what we should explore around Paris, sharing thoughtful recommendations that really helped us make the most of our trip. Exceptional hospitality, amazing food, and a genuinely memorable experience. Highly recommend!

29/05/2026: Honestly, the place and the concept have everything going for them. The only downside (but a significant one) is the appalling service. You arrive with a group ordering drinks and pizzas, but the waiter berates one person (out of ten) who was about to leave, telling them they had to either buy more or get out of the restaurant. This happened three times, the same treatment. Frankly, they make it clear that if you're not happy, you can leave, and that someone else will take your place anyway.

25/05/2026: A very nice place, but the waiters are a bit too watchful for my taste, and the drinks are a little expensive for what they are. Nevertheless, it's still a very good experience at a fairly reasonable price.

24/05/2026: Run away. We arrived and ordered an aperitif from a rather unfriendly waitress. We had clearly stated that we wanted to have pasta carbonara after the aperitif, at a leisurely pace, with the intention of also ordering wine afterward. The cocktails were served, and then the main courses arrived immediately afterward, barely enough time for a toast. We pointed out to the second waitress that the service was extremely fast and that it wasn't what we had requested. Her response, in a haughty tone: "You should have specified that earlier." Which, of course, had been done to her colleague when we placed our order. Beyond the obvious lack of communication between the staff, we were particularly shocked by the way this waitress spoke to us, with blatant bad faith and a complete lack of professionalism. Regarding the food: the pasta was far too overcooked, swimming in a bland, tasteless cream sauce—and, most importantly, it was egg-free, which is questionable for a "carbonara" dish in a restaurant claiming to be Italian and traditional—and finished with greasy bacon and dry Parmesan. A real disappointment. Between the unpleasant service, the increasingly awkward atmosphere, and dishes that were anything but Italian, we decided to go elsewhere for dessert. For an establishment that claims to serve traditional Italian cuisine, this is unfortunately an insult to the recipes and values ​​of Italian gastronomy. Deplorable.

23/05/2026: We were very disappointed with this restaurant. The salad was extremely light for the price, and the pizzas were mostly just dough with tomato sauce and minimal toppings. The ingredients were of poor quality. We are big fans of Italian food, and this restaurant is nothing like an Italian restaurant.
