Delicious, right down to the coffee. Pleasant service.
The wisteria-shaded terrace is perfectly cool, and the place is pleasant and peaceful.

No cars pass through this historic center.
Well worth the detour. A must-try, and worth repeating.

13/08/2026: Small neighborhood restaurant serving homemade, local cuisine.
We come every year, and the owner is always welcoming and offers great advice. They're very welcoming to families with children.
The dishes are delicious and generous, made with local ingredients (not the standard side dishes that are so common).
The bill is more than reasonable.
It's far from the tourist traps, even though it's just a few kilometers inland.

08/08/2026: Relatively limited menu but very well prepared. Mind you, i welcome this as so often, Asian and Indian restaurant menus are overwhelming. The specialties, especially the "Delices de la mer sauce Golden Dragon are very good.
Friendly owners.

30/04/2026: A very beautiful, high-quality hotel. A warm and friendly welcome. The food is exceptionally good. Modern and comfortable rooms. I highly recommend it!
14/04/2026: Stunning (both location and services). The location is excellent (limited parking) but with superb views over the surrounding countryside with snow capped mountains. The welcome was very friendly - felt like old friends. Our dog was made very welcome (think she have stolen several hearts). Lovely room reasonable spacious, view from the window exceptional, nice sized shower room. Fridge and aircon. Meals on the terrace, 3 excellent (alcoholic) aperitif's to choose from. We had 3 different meals (one each day) well presented, original and they were very tasty. Yummy as well desserts. Wine very pleasant. Breakfast serve yourself - the fresh fruit salad was much appreciated. Good range of products to choose from. Coffee and teas as required (served). Prices for our 3 days stay dinner bed and breakfast (+small charge for Choupettte) were very reasonable

21/08/2026: I've been coming here every week for my coffee for several years now and I'm always just as satisfied. There's a great selection of coffee, roasted right here, and above all, they give excellent advice, whether it's choosing the right coffee or the right grind for your machine.
There's also a huge selection of teas and herbal infusions; my wife buys them regularly. The welcome is always warm, and the staff takes the time to help when you need advice or have a problem. It's great to still have this kind of shop in the center of Rennes. I highly recommend it!

I said hello, got no response, and when it was my turn, I got a haughty "well, hello then."
You lost a sale; nothing drives people away worse than condescension.

17/03/2026: Madam, if you don't know how to make a cappuccino, don't make it. €6 is more expensive than in Collioure. It's advertised with whipped cream, but it's made only with coffee and milk. (Milk foam.)

11/09/2024: The products are good and lots of choice, too bad the saleswoman is so unpleasant. Next time, if she's the one serving, I'll come out.
10/09/2024: A must-see place in the Elne area, the Marie Blachere bakery is a must to buy bread. Different varieties, with different cooking, sliced or not. Also, sandwiches, pastries, pizzas are at your disposal! All this in a friendly and lively atmosphere... We don't bother in this bakery! It's moving....
