17/08/2026: We went as a family for afternoon tea around 5 pm today. The terrace was practically empty. We sat down in the only available shaded spot that hadn't been cleared, no problem. The waitress arrived and asked if we could move because, and I quote, "otherwise I'll have to clear the table." We refused, explaining that the other tables were in full sun and that we were with young children. She frowned. We ordered two coffees and a Nutella waffle, and since one of our children was sick, we asked if it would be possible to have a glass of cold milk. "No, we don't do that, and if we changed the menu every time, we'd never make ends meet." "Okay..." Even though we could understand her, the tone and friendliness were nowhere to be seen. Anyway, we moved on. The setting is quite nice, overlooking Lake Caniel, and the low turnout today is pleasant. Despite this, during the 10-minute wait for our order, we could hear the waitress complaining to anyone who would listen that they were overwhelmed, that it was raining cats and dogs (there were a maximum of 10 people on August 17th…), even telling a couple who had just sat down a little further away: “If you want things to be quick, just go to the snack bar further down!” In short, everyone looked at each other, dumbfounded by the young woman's bizarre attitude; she clearly didn't want to be there at all. After all, she has the right to be, but making it obvious to everyone else is awkward, unpleasant, and completely unprofessional. You need to review your recruitment process or, moreover, train your staff in customer service and interaction. We were finally served coffee (quickly) by a gentleman who ended up clearing the table that the young woman hadn't wanted to do. She came back with the waffle. We asked her if she could wash the table, which was dirty and sticky from the previous customers. She replied, "My colleague will do it." We're still waiting. The (reheated) waffle was a hit with the little one, but the coffees weren't great. An €8 bill that's really worth it, mainly for the ambiance.

13/08/2026: Friendly welcome, pleasant lakeside location, good food (I enjoyed it with my family), clean restrooms, good value for money. I recommend it.
