18/01/2026: Despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, it was opened twice during our stay.
Furthermore, when we left our room, a housekeeping cart was parked right outside our door.
The staff seemed very eager for us to leave the room, even though we had checked out an hour before our scheduled departure time.
15/01/2026: We'd booked an apartment with Booking.com in cental Abbeville for a one night stopover on the way to the Biarritz area. We arrived around 6:30p.m but by 7:30 p.m we had left after discovering cockroaches.
Spotted the Mercure nearby and thankfully were able to book a family room in this clean, elegant hotel.
What began as an unpleasant, stressful start to our holiday ended up being relaxed and comfortable. Thanks Mercure!

22/08/2025: The setup in McDs to get the food out is awful and too slow. 15 minutes to make a McMuffin at 1040 when they have a reduced menu to service I'd bonkers.

03/08/2024: To really avoid apart from the breakfast lady who is polite the rest of the room service is a disaster including the manager of this hotel who is very unpleasant I had a very bad experience in this super hot hotel in the rooms not a bottle of water in the middle of a scorching summer and on top of that there is work from 5 a.m. right in front of the room when Jen speaks to the manager he sends you away as if you had had the hotel free this is unacceptable besides I would not stay there I would write to the ibi management to express not only my dissatisfaction but that of the customers present this stay with whom we were able to exchange

16/08/2024: Par une journée pluvieuse, où nombres d'établissement de la ville étaient fermés pour congés, nous avons pu trouver refuge culinaire dans ce bistrot du monde! Accueilli chaleureusement par la patronne, nous nous sommes laissés guider vers la fierté de la maison : les moules de la baie cuisinées à l'indienne ! Rien que cela vous donne une idée du voyage qui vous est proposé ! En résumé, savoureux, familial, artisanal, abordable et multiculturel. Bravo pour cette alchimie !

Un accueil très sympathique, et un service aux petits soins...
En entrée un petit nem et un petit Samoussa avec une petite sauce à la menthe... Miaaam...
En plat du jour un poulet Tikka Massala (je ne suis plus certaine de l'orthographe) avec riz au curry.. On nous avait prévenu que c'était légèrement piquant... Et franchement trop bon... Piquant juste ce qu'il faut.
Et pour refroidir le feu du gosier (et en plus avec la chaleur ça a fait du bien) une petite glace à l'italienne.
Nous y retournerons lors de nos prochaines vacances...

10/08/2024: A pizzeria that has it all. A nice setting, the kindness of the staff, the cleanliness of the place and the gem: the pizzas! A real treat. Beautiful to see, they are delicious to taste and well stocked for a reasonable price. Possibility to order in advance. I will come back for sure.
