Very good hearty burgers with fine fries. Chocolate fondant and delicious baba, great value for money. We will come back for the Georgette passion gin

Great welcome.
Everything is perfect, both the hotel and the restaurant.
A place to discover.
24/09/2024: A unique accommodation, well worth the visit. It sits with a view of the river and in secluded woods, with beautiful walks and nature on your doorstep. The rooms are comfortable and there's a calmness across the accommodation, with light jazz on play throughout the day. The breakfast (which will set you back €18) is delightful and in a warm and welcoming setting. There is a restaurant on sight but we did not try it (it offers 'courses' and is towards the upper end of a budget). Good location for Brunqiuel and Penne. And an easy drive to Toulouse

18/08/2024: Nous avons déjeuné à l entrée du restaurant sur la petite terrasse mon avis sur l accueil est plutôt mitigé ! Vous avez également une boutique à l intérieur pour des souvenirs ! nous avons pris 2 assiettes pigassou . Assiette agréable et correcte confit de canard frites aux herbes (pas signalé dans l intitulé du plat) salade crudités et gésiers. Le plat est à 21,5€. Après être sorti du restaurant je pense qu’il y a eu une erreur sur l addition ! J aurais du demander la note écrite !
14/08/2024: Serveuse désagréable. Erreur de caisse . Un café offert nous aurait calmés. Repas correct amélioré si habitué du lieux.

Be careful to make a reservation, it is very popular
24/08/2024: Top notch restaurant. With its menu at 16 euros you eat very well. You leave the table without feeling hungry. The staff is top notch.

Gravlax salmon: small portions
the veal steak: not tender
tarte tatin: too sweet
wine: insufficient quantity
Conclusion: disproportionate quality/price ratio.
09/09/2024: What a great find! As we were travelling north we found this place. The staff were friendly and the service was perfect. The food was amazing… yes, amazing! If you are in the area this is the place to eat.
We did not stay at the hotel, just travelled through.

04/08/2024: Cadre parfait, élégamment fleuri. Personnel à l’écoute mais… mais … repas beaucoup trop long, 4h.: cuisine ? Service ? Pas la réponse. Assiettes joliment présentées, mets goûteux, cuisine inventive mais attention : menu enfant au prix du menu découverte adulte (c’est exagéré pour des produits de base enfants ) réfléchir avant de s’engager, c’est abusé !
26/07/2024: On y est allé pour nos 40 ans de mariage. On n'a pas regretté. Très beau restaurant, personnel attentionné et très agréable. Tous les mets sont succulents et super bien présentés. Salle très claire, très fleurie, vue sur la nature.. Il y a un beau parc où l'on peut se promener après le repas et voir des perruches, des perroquets... Tout était parfait.

17/05/2024: réservation pour 5 personnes par mail 6 jours avant et sans confirmation je téléphone la vieille ; restaurant fermé "on n'a pas le temps de lire nos mail" - Allo, la poste ? passez moi le 22 à Bruniquel !
21/04/2024: Leggere che il ristorante sia ricordato (anche sulla guida Michelin) per aver ospitato le riprese di un film con Romy Schneider, "Vieux fusil" (il cui titolo in italiano "Frau Marlene") vi porterà decisamente fuori strada: non pranzerete infatti in un locale che si autocelebra, ma in un ristorante con una discreta inventiva in cucina e una buona ricerca degli ingredienti. I clienti vengono accolti da uno straordinario amouse-bouche fatto con uovo, bacon e vino; a seguire io ho ordinato la noisette d'agnello arrostita all'aglio che ho trovato straordinariamente gustosa. Poi ho anche preso un dessert, anch'esso molto buono, un tortino di cioccolata con frutta secca e candita servito con del gelato alla vaniglia. Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Buona la carta dei vini, anche se il primo che ho scelto non era disponibile. Prezzi commisurati alla qualità e grande la disponibilità nei confronti dei bambini; mi ha sorpreso però che il menu per i più piccoli comprendesse il foie gras, che raramente piace loro. Ad ogni modo di certo non è rimasto sul piatto :)

09/08/2024: Glaces artisanales on the terrace before a climb up to the chateau. Beautiful views and a wide range of interesting flavours - green tomato with lemon and basil is one I will be trying next time. A lovely interlude.
