17/09/2024: Beautiful campsite, all facilities, good location, but what a disappointment on arrival due to registration and responsible manager. We reserved a 4-day (night) stay in advance (September 2024) and paid the full sum of 257 euros in advance. We were promised that upon arrival and presentation of our ACSI promotional card of which we are a member, a refund of the discount would be made. Upon arrival at the campsite we did not receive a refund because this would not be administratively possible, but we were given a voucher for the amount of 112 euros, which we had to agree to. This voucher could only be used during the 4-day stay in the bar-restaurant, sauna, etc., in other words, we were not given a discount on our stay. I discussed this with the manager of this campsite and asked him to refund my discount in cash or to transfer it to my account to which I was entitled, a discussion ensued and I stuck to my position without any form of aggression. Suddenly this man became very aggressive and threatened me with his fist, he literally went off the rails and I felt extremely threatened, he stood close to my body with his fist in front of my eyes, whereupon I kindly asked him to distance himself from me, which happened not so that I took a few steps back myself, this man clearly went off the rails with aggression. He even urged us to apologize for which there was no reason, we simply stood for our rights, meaning the discount from ACSI. Ultimately a cash refund was given without proof and not equal to the discount, I left it that way to avoid further harassment. We have been traveling with a mobile home for about 10 years and visit many campsites every year. We have never experienced this before and we were very moved and it had an enormous emotional impact on our stay, we really hate aggression!! We have also filed a complaint with the head office of this campsite. It cannot be the intention when you go on holiday and in the event of a difference of opinion that the manager of a 5 star campsite comes before you with his fist while you only want to safeguard your rights, that was an unpleasant situation and certainly serious aggression that we did not tolerate and move on with this fact. I have not gone to reception again, but I hope there are cameras that could have captured this incident. At the time of the incident, 2 reception staff were witnesses. A day later I also noticed from a distance that this manager was shouting at the campsite to a gardener from this campsite.

16/09/2024: We rented a camper spot with its own sanitary facilities. Super luxurious, with heating, shower, toilet and even a refrigerator. Beautiful campsite with a stream, swimming pool, restaurant and snack bar. I didn't think the pizza to go that we ordered was great, but the food in the restaurant was great. Nice staff, the man in the shop tries to speak to everyone in his own language. Nice! Maybe another tip for the restaurant; put a vegetarian burger on the menu?

10/09/2024: Voilà : mon 4 ème déjeuner dans cett auberge m'a déçu : le menu marcaire qui faisait la renommée de cet établissement a été revu : On ne vous sert PLUS de pommes de terre marcaire : soit le cuisinier a changé soit la recette a été perdue ! Ou, soit les objectifs de rentabilité ont changés !!! J invite donc celui-ci à consulter Google où il découvrira ( ou retrouvera !) la recette de ces fameuses pommes de terre. Cela évitera à la serveuse de fournir ,sur un ton mal assuré, " Qu il y a différentes recettes de pommes de terre Marcaire, Monsieur, et notamment sans lardons , car on nous demande sans ..." ( celles que j ai mangées aujourd'hui étaient sans lardons, ni oignons, ni Munster !!!) J ai bien failli lui répondre que le foutage de g....e avait des limites et que lorsqu on voulait manger halal on n'allait pas dans une ferme auberge vosgienne. Bref vous avez compris que le changement est à l œuvre dans cette établissement et que désormais je suis à la recherche d une autre ferme auberge dans ce secteur, plus.......authentique et je vous engage à faire de même.

05/08/2024: A great weekend behind us in the Vosges. Not least because of our stay at Les 2 Clefs. Hospitality is an asset. Steven excels as a host and Ilse works magic in the kitchen. Instant home feeling. Well-kept rooms. Nice garden. Coziness around the fire bowl. This is highly recommended.

30/06/2024: Comfortable accommodation and in tip top condition. Ideally located for exploring the beautiful region.
