The food here was fantastic - a small menu, so they do everything very well. We were especially impressed by the wine selection, which had a really unique mix of wines from the region as well as the rest of france. You can actually walk into their cave and pick your wine yourself. Then if you want to take some home, its 30% off of whatever price you see. We had a cocktail each, a great bottle of biodynamic orange wine, and ordered almost one of everything in the food menu (salad, bo la lot, the comtois flambé, fries, cheese plate and the mousse), all of it waa great. Also took a great bottle of red home for 18eur so overall very reasonably priced especially for the quality. Would absolutely recommend.

A very pleasant surprise. The dishes were made with fresh ingredients and were very well prepared. The Vietnamese dish, Pho Ga, in Alsace, was incredible and delicious (according to a Vietnamese person). The service was efficient and friendly. I highly recommend it.

An authentic gem and a true favorite in Ammerschwihr! My wife and I shared a remarkable lunch at the AMSEL restaurant this week. From the very first aperitif, the Spritz cocktails, made with top-quality ingredients, set the tone. The rest of the meal lived up to expectations: from the appetizers to the main courses, everything was delicious, prepared with impeccably fresh ingredients. I enjoyed a glass of Alsatian wine, of course, which was excellent and very refined, but a special mention must go to the wine list, which beautifully showcases independent winemakers with some truly outstanding selections offered at very reasonable prices considering the quality. We had been searching for a long time for such an authentic restaurant, guided by a respect for locally sourced ingredients and a love of craftsmanship. The entire team is attentive, warm, and incredibly kind. A big thank you to the whole team for this wonderful experience. We found what we were looking for and we will return with immense pleasure!

We had a wonderful evening; the dishes were truly incredible (Italian night) and out of the ordinary. The service and wine recommendations were absolutely perfect. The venue is also very charming.

The time spent at this restaurant was pure bliss. From the very first bites, we knew we were in the hands of a chef who truly understands his craft. The veal blanquette, meltingly tender, fragrant, and perfectly balanced, is one of those dishes that can win everyone over to traditional cuisine. A true signature dish, one we wholeheartedly recommend. And what can we say about the chocolate mousse... Absolutely divine. Light yet intense, with a deep chocolate flavor that lingers on the palate and immediately makes you want to come back for more. It's the kind of dessert that beautifully concludes a meal and leaves an unforgettable memory. Attentive service, a warm atmosphere, and generous portions: an address not to be missed. We'll be back, that's for sure.

By far the best restaurant I've ever been to! The staff is lovely and welcoming. The waiter knows his dishes and how to present them. Excellent food!! And a great atmosphere. Go for it without hesitation!!
