Nice staff, spoke only French. Menu was also in English. We ate galettes, their specialty. Was very good and portions were large. The restaurant itself was not big, mostly local population. Worth a visit!

A lovely and authentic French restaurant, very busy and clearly popular with locals. The menu is very traditional French, which we really liked. The owner was extremely helpful and even warned me that the galette I originally wanted contained offal. He explained that it was tasty, but also very strong and quite unusual in flavour. Based on his recommendation, I decided to choose a different galette instead, which was a great choice. Delicious food, a very local atmosphere and excellent service. Definitely recommended!

Please don’t be influenced by the location. This restaurant is a gem - amazing friendly service and outstanding food. While some visitors will sit on Avenue de Champagne, you can dine smugly, knowing you’re having some of the best food in Epernay.

Even without a reservation, we were warmly welcomed. The drinks menu is extensive. We opted for the "menu gourmand" and were able to easily adjust our choice of dishes. The meal was delicious and copious. We will be back here. Thanks to the super-friendly host and the pleasant staff.

Magnificent. Very friendly welcome and service. Extensive menu. Mega large portions (could be a bit smaller). Shared savory crêpes as a starter, which was more than enough. Main course very flavorful, one lamb shank and one beef stew (11h) - no knife was needed for this, a spoon and/or fork glided right through it. Meat super tender and well-seasoned. Friendly people.

Warm welcome. Classic setting. Excellent traditional cuisine. Beautiful presentation and quick service from a very friendly owner! Good value for money. Restrooms regularly checked. This is my second visit, and I will gladly return. Highly recommended!

It’s like dining in a friend’s cosy home. The restaurant is cheerfully decorated with model boats, ice buckets for champagne and plants. Gerard and Thierry were exceedingly friendly and made much effort to converse despite our very rudimentary French. Perhaps to make us feel right at home, the background music soon switched to English language pop songs. We ordered escargots as a sharing starter, then rump steak and a 11-hour slow cooked beef for our mains -all truly excellent. The fries which came with the steak were thoughtfully cut with a concave side which was wonderful for scooping its accompanying cream sauce. The potato dauphinoise was tasty too. Wine list was not extensive but more than sufficient. Food portions were generous so we had no room for dessert. Prices are reasonable. We had a grand send off with Gerard plying us with brochures and recommendations of places of interest in Epernay to visit. What a very lovely lunch experience!

Fantastic service and food: the beef chuck was to die for and the patties were very generous! I highly recommend it!
