Aging establishment without investment. So obviously everything is from another era. However, cleanliness is respected. 2 floors without elevator. €10/night for a garage. Minimalist welcome. Very decent restaurant, family cuisine.

I didn't stay overnight at the hotel but myself and friends, who live locally, had an evening meal here. We were welcomed by a friendly lady who served us. The meals were fabulous, Beautifully cooked and nicely presented. And very good value menus. We will definitely return next time I visit La Souterraine.

Service agréable et rapide -carte variée et plats généreux (devrait s’équiper de boites doggy bag😌) excellente purée maison 😆et vin rosé AOC au verre excellent- prix très correct et justifié - parfait pour une halte . Apéritif, 1 entree, 2 plats, 1 verre vin, 1 dessert, 1 café :59€

Right in the city center, very convenient, but: - welcome bordering on politeness; - premises that are dilapidated and renovated too quickly; - cuisine that is not one. But it's not expensive
