We visited Restaurant à l 'Ouest twice during our stay on the Île de Ré and were thrilled each time. Excellent service, regional products imaginatively and deliciously prepared. We'd love to come back!

Local restaurant and bar with cosy interior and large terrace. Friendly and efficient service and patient with our attempts to speak French throughout! There are a handful of sharing dishes including home smoked duck and salmon. I chose a tasty pot of lentil and chickpea daal with rice, Mark had duck parmentier with white bean mash. I'd say the food is simple but perfectly put together. At the time of our visit in late September, only open Wednesday and Sunday so do check in advance.

Good food, just one downside: the wine was very cold. Please bring back the bottle to find out if it is the real wine chosen.

We ate very well, the jar cooking system is original. The waitress was very helpful in explaining the menu. The dishes were substantial! The tiramisu was delicious! I highly recommend

undoubtedly one of the best restaurants on the island. a varied menu with good fresh produce. Try the lamb sweetbreads, morel sauce or andouillette, ... a treat

A very nice little restaurant. Warm welcome, original dishes served in jars Delicious rillettes, shrimps and dried fish. We had a lovely evening. Thank you for this good time we will come back to see you Patrick

We hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. Voor-, hoofd- en nagerecht waren allen voortreffelijk van smaak. Kleinschalig restaurant in een rustig dorpje. Uitermate klantvriendelijk geholpen. Absoluut een aanrader!

01/11/2023: We ate there for lunch on Monday 30/10, we highly recommend this place where the dishes were very good, the 2 waiters were very professional and friendly, we had a very good time there and finally a more than reasonable addition for a site sightseeing! Thank you for your welcome and keep it up 👍
