19/08/2026: A mixed experience: The location was perfect, and the food was good, but the wait was incredibly long—about an hour and fifteen minutes. The downside was the service. The difference in service between a table of locals and a table of mainlanders was immediately apparent. Some concrete examples: the servers walked past our table and went to attend to tables that arrived much later. They didn't stop at our table but instead checked on the locals every five minutes to make sure they had everything they needed. If an item was missing from our dish, one server told another that it wasn't right, then didn't come back with an answer. We had to go to the bar to find the server while he was on his phone. And, most importantly, it took an hour and fifteen minutes to get our main course, while other tables with the same dishes were enjoying a smooth transition from appetizers to desserts. So we cut our meal short without even ordering dessert. Thanks anyway to one of the servers who understood the situation and offered to buy us a glass of myrtle liqueur. Conclusion: This restaurant has a good reputation, but for those coming from mainland France, there are other, much more welcoming and less expensive inns.
