Abbaye de Talloires - La Table de Cezanne sur Talloires

We had a wonderful time at Talloires Abbey. The place is calm, peaceful, and ideal for relaxation. Our requests were taken into account with great care when assigning our room, and we were even surprised to be upgraded. It was a short stay, which didn't allow us to experience all the amenities the abbey has to offer. But we're already looking forward to returning and fully discovering everything the abbey has to offer.

What a delight this hotel is... One of the best experiences I've had so far for a 4-star hotel, which deserves a fifth star. The staff is incredibly attentive and professional, the gourmet restaurant is fabulous, the spa/relaxation area is very well-equipped—in short, a gem. I truly hope to find the opportunity to return to enjoy the scenery, the cuisine, and the warm atmosphere of this iconic place once again.

Perfect, nothing to say except that the spa area lacked sufficient relaxation space, neither for sitting nor lying down, and the hammam was a bit of a joke… A shame.

Another wonderful experience at the Abbey's gourmet restaurant. Everything was perfect from start to finish (except for a minor cooking flaw with the meat—it was rare instead of blue). Special mention to Charly and his advice on choosing drinks that perfectly complemented our meal. The atmosphere was elegant and cozy, the service warm, the cuisine perfect and flavorful, the selection of perfectly aged local cheeses (thank you, Alain Michel), and the light dessert just right to end a meal rich in flavor. In short, I highly recommend it and will definitely return. Remember to book ahead.

We had a very good experience at this establishment. It's a former abbey that has been beautifully preserved, a lovely building with a small but well-designed spa area. The hammam and sensory shower were delightful. The staff were attentive, and the 12 pm check-out was convenient. We were also able to take advantage of the parking.

The setting is incredible; our room overlooked the lake. The abbey is decorated with antique furniture to truly immerse you in the era. It's very charming. Our room had original parquet flooring, so it creaks, I should mention. The bathroom and toilet, however, are very modern. The parking lot isn't very large, so the cars are very tightly packed. Reception will ask for your car keys if they need to move your vehicle. The reception staff are very helpful and pleasant. There's a spa on site. Breakfast is a well-stocked all-you-can-eat buffet with good quality products. This is just my opinion, but the price is still quite high considering the services offered.
