I will just share my experience of the restaurant. I would like to congratulate the chef and his staff. I have rarely had my taste buds so stimulated, my stomach purred just at the sight of the plates. For that Thank you it's been a very long time. It was a great moment shared with family. Everyone was won over, surprised and delighted. A small downside for a waiter in Bermuda shorts and sneakers that surprised me a little... but quickly forgotten during the tasting... See you soon

Superb experience. The staff was very welcoming and caring. The view of the bay is magical. I really fell in love with the fish from the lake, the whole meal was excellent.

Organization of a seminar with 50 participants who slept at Talloires Abbey. Sumptuous setting on the banks of Lake Annecy, and very good communication during the preparation of the trip. I recommend!

An evening meal on the terrace in the cold because there was no choice... We spent the entire meal with the blanket kindly lent by the restaurant. Nice place, nice view. A good "gourmet" meal... An excellent moment was the one when we saw all these poor waiters struggling to push the huge carts of cheese into the stones of the courtyard, so complicated that the waitresses called the waiters to help them. I would say an experience more than a meal, we were still a little hungry at the end. They wanted to charge us for several things that had not been served at our table at all, a slight lack of tact, but mistakes happen even in this type of establishment.

Hello, I warmly recommend this establishment. The chef's menu is delicious, especially the smoked tuna. A real delight. My friend and I are delighted to have discovered this magnificent place in Talloires. Francine and Faiza

J'y suis allée pour un mariage, nous étions 130 et j'ai très bien mangé, rien d'exceptionnel mais de très bons produits locaux et de saison mis en valeur et cuits avec justesse. Le service était parfait, attentionné, rapide, nous avons tous mangé chaud et ensemble! Ce qui est remarquable pour 130 personnes. Seule petite déception pour moi: le reblochon aux figues revisité devenu un espuma de reblochon sur un roulé feuilleté à la figue, bref pas assez de goût... L'apéritif servi dans les jardins était vraiment terrible ( jambon cru entier découpé à la demande, foie gras sur pain d'épices caramélisé au chalumeau et BBQ japonais de diots frais entre autres amuse-bouche). La situation ( Talloires et les pieds dans le Lac d'Annecy) et les jardins avec leurs arbres plus que centenaires sont merveilleux.

Deux jours passés à l'occasion d'un anniversaire. Nous avons manger au restaurant gastronomique le menu excellence qui est "excellent". magnifique découverte, des plats à la hauteurs des intitulés. La proposition du sommelier pour les vins au verres était parfait. Nous avons également testé le bar et le restaurant bistronomique le lendemain, à midi. Egalement juste parfait. Nous y reviendrons.

An exceptional place, steeped in history with its abbey more than 1000 years old, and a mecca of French gastronomy. One of the most beautiful bays on the lake.

21/09/2024: Came one evening in September as a couple. Tapas prices a little high even for home cooking. Very good Tiramisu to share. Downside, the service could have been perfect... the table next door was smoking and we asked to change so as not to disturb them, since there were always free seats a little further away. We were told: sorry but everything is full this evening.." too bad. but after us no one came and at the end of our meal they started to fold up the supposedly full terrace... being in the profession I think it's a shame, with a more open service we would have given one more star and, above all as usual, left a good tip Sorry... but we were disappointed...

Restaurant Le Cottage Bise

15/10/2024: Just had a stunningly good 3-day work meeting at Le Cottage Bise. I only wish I'd stayed longer to make the most of this glorious venue! From start to end, the service was impeccable, and the food outstanding - to serve perfect steak to 67 people simultaneously was a remarkable feat, and the hotel team also catered very well for the group's various dietary issues at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's a shame I didn't have time to go swimming as the pool looked and felt very inviting (only had time to dip my hand in). My room was excellent, with a lovely view of the lake, and the bed was very comfortable; the bathroom included robes, slippers and very tasteful toiletries, and everywhere was extremely clean. The conference rooms were in an amazing 11th century priory a couple of minutes on foot from the main hotel and was perfect for our needs. Very highly recommended!

I was organizing a business event for 70 people, they closed the hotel for us, the conference room (thank you very much Gabriella!!!), the food (I'd like to highlight the risotto, the perfect egg, beef and the desserts) and the service were incredible! Every detail was perfect! Everyone complimented and enjoyed the location and the Cottage Bise! Thank you to Mr. Bise and his team for all their hard work and effort. It's obvious they have a wealth of experience in organizing special events and know what they're doing. I highly recommend them if you want to organize a successful event!
