Brilliant neighbourhood spot. My partner has been coming here for years, and we can highly recommend the couscous. The flavour is fantastic and the portions are huge. All of the staff are super sweet and accommodating as well. Give it a go next time you are in the area!

Food was great, so we're the drinks. Portions were big enough for two.

The service was adequate. Nice selection of cocktails at a reasonable price for Paris (€6). The alcohol content was just right. I'd definitely go back. The restrooms were clean, but the walls and floor could use a refresh.

A true gem in Montmartre – The best couscous in Paris! What a delight! I left Brasserie Abel Montmartre (18th arrondissement, bordering the 17th) with a light heart and a smile on my face. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by Idir with a big smile and a warmth that's become rare these days. The entire team embodies these precious values: smiling, helpful, accommodating, understanding, and deeply respectful. You immediately feel right at home. As a big couscous fan, I had high expectations… and they were far exceeded! The dish was served with remarkable generosity: an abundance of vegetables (carrots, fennel, a mountain of chickpeas, and many more), raisins, perfect harissa, and, a rarity in Paris, no fewer than four merguez sausages! I say it without hesitation: it's the best couscous I've had in a restaurant in Paris to date. 🌟 The terrace, packed with visibly delighted and happy customers, speaks volumes about the quality of this place. It's no coincidence. A huge THANK YOU to Idir and the entire team for this exceptional experience. You've gained a loyal customer and an enthusiastic ambassador. 👉 I recommend this place without hesitation, 1000%. Go for it, you'll thank me later!
