The African Queen restaurant in Toulouse is a wonderful discovery for lovers of authentic African cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the braised chicken with plantains, which was perfectly seasoned and a generous portion. The colorful decor immediately creates a warm and exotic atmosphere. A big thank you to Mamadou, who was very welcoming and attentive throughout the meal. A friendly place where you feel right at home, with excellent value for money.

Le Break

30/04/2026: Passing through Tours for a few hours on our way back from vacation, we were looking for a place to have lunch on a terrace with a children's menu. We received a warm welcome, the setting was very peaceful, the food delicious, and there was a lawn in front of the terrace where our children could play quietly while we enjoyed an aperitif. A very good place!
18/04/2026: Great setting for sports enthusiasts, superb terrace, and good food! See you soon!

La kasbah

15/09/2026: We're regulars there, all my friends and family love the food and place and mostly the owners and staff, i was their neighbor for 7 years in a row and it's been amazing. Always felt like home. My husband and i took the decision to get engaged over dinner there and we even wana have our wedding there one day if we had one. And when i say they all love it as if they tell me to reserve when they're still on the plane getting to toulouse! Or even thinking about the city haha the main plan is al gasbah / kasbah hahahaa ❤️
09/09/2026: Excellent restaurant, impeccable service and very welcoming staff. I highly recommend it!
