For our last Norman evening in Grandcamp-Maisy, we chose to dine at the La Plage bar-restaurant. We received a very warm welcome from a very kind owner, who even took the time to answer my questions about the local fishermen. As for the food: starter, main course, dessert... everything was excellent! The service was fast, the prices very reasonable for a seaside restaurant (€80 for two), and the view is splendid with the rising tide and the fishing boats heading out to sea. A big thank you for a wonderful evening! We highly recommend this place.

We came last night, Saturday. We had booked, we were asked inside or on the terrace. The welcome was great! Our table was ready and we were in a great position, facing the sea and in a small, secluded corner, the location was perfect! We ordered a starter: a Pont l'évêque andouille steak and goat cheese with grilled bacon, it was excellent with a great presentation! Then we had a beautiful Normandy beef rib-eye steak and sliced ​​chicken fillets with Camembert sauce. To die for!! And to finish we had a homemade crème brûlée as well as a Normandy tarte flambée with Calvados and a scoop of ice cream. Nothing to complain about, it was fantastic! The waiters, who I assume are the owners, are incredibly kind, they are smiling and attentive! A place to recommend and to try absolutely if you are passing through or on vacation in Grandcamp Maisy!

What a wonderful time! We were very well received. With a view of the sea, we ate very well. The mussels with Camembert were truly delicious.
