Alba sur Reims

It was absolutely excellent. The service was very fast, and the staff were really friendly and smiling. Personally, I'm not a fan of the religious decor with crosses, statues, and images of Christ everywhere, but to each their own... I felt like I was eating in a church 😅 The meal was excellent, but I'm not a convert by any means 😇😉

Great experience! The service was quick. It was quite noisy as it was very busy, but other than that, everything was perfect. The salmon was a little too salty for my taste, but otherwise, the dish was very good. The portions were decent; I even took some home. I ordered a cocktail, but it was too sweet—probably from the syrup, but I really struggled with it.

Dinner for a group of 9. The restaurant has several rooms, each with its own decor. Religious images adorn the entrance. A skylight in the middle makes the room bright, giving the impression of being outdoors. The back room is larger, with a wood-paneled decor and many mirrors on the walls. It can accommodate large tables (10-12 people) with more space between them. The high ceilings make it less noisy. The pizzas were good, a reliable choice. The pasta dishes were less impressive, not generous enough for those who ordered them. We were very disappointed with the desserts. The tiramisu was either classic or made with red berries, but tasteless. There weren't enough ladyfingers, and they felt soggy. Too much cream, making them heavy. The lemon tart had an aftertaste of refrigerator (which had been stored with garlic-seasoned food). It was inedible, and the portion was tiny (smaller than what you'd buy in a store). Order ice cream instead. The cocktails were good, with a minimum price of €9. Otherwise, the atmosphere was pleasant.

A lovely spot in the heart of Reims, this Italian restaurant offers flavors reminiscent of the Italian provinces. I found the pasta portions a bit small (but I do have a hearty appetite). The quality, service, and ambiance were all excellent, with a very Italian decor. Definitely a restaurant to remember.

Passing through Reims, and with our accommodation located on the next street, we stumbled upon Alba and were instantly captivated. An incredible setting with three distinct atmospheres, delightful cocktails, and remarkable cuisine (delicious pizza and pasta!), all complemented by a relaxed yet attentive staff. Our only regret: we returned the next day, but our stomachs were too small to reach dessert. We'll have to come back!… but we're from Brittany, and that's a long way, unfortunately!
