ALKARAM sur Paris

Alkaram was a double discovery. First, the restaurant itself, of course, but also the Lebanese cuisine. I left completely won over and I can confirm all the excellent reviews I had read. First of all, I wanted to highlight the staff's warm welcome, kindness, and down-to-earth manner. This was true from the moment I took the reservation by phone until the final payment. Secondly, I found the food very good, sometimes even excellent, with flavors and textures that are a welcome change from some dishes "reworked" for European tastes. Don't be fooled by the portion sizes, which might seem small; they are so rich that you won't need any more. Special mention goes to the pastries, which are not too sweet and much more delicate than you might expect. The wines are of very high quality. Furthermore, the prices are very reasonable and the setting is very discreet and intimate. I plan to return someday.

I've been a regular at Al Karam restaurant for a long time, and it's always a real pleasure to go back. The establishment is run by an exceptionally kind couple, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I often get the tasting platter to go, which I highly recommend, but everything is delicious. A place I recommend without hesitation!
