20/11/2024: the most amazing food, ever. thank god! been on the road for a couple days (international travel) and was absolutely hungry and in search for a simple yet relatable meal. something substantial. so, bangladeshi food it was. ay dios mio! bingo! the gentleman at the counter could not, could not understand a word of what i was saying BUT knew perfectly well by looking at how excited i was. his recommended and humble lamb dish -- with rice and boiled egg has been one of the best i've ever had; moist and flavorful. his naan with cheese was out of this world. one thing missing though was: chile. oh boy, was i in heaven when i saw that side dish coming? hells yeah! yum thank you kandarie. new yorkers are known to be loud and demanding. no, we are not. we just know what TF we want. plain and simple. we eat, offer appreciation, pay (well) and leave. no fake nothing. 😊
