April 2026: I had to update my review! LOVE Artisane. We discovered this place last year (2025) on a business trip, and were searching for a Michelin star restaurant. It was SO good I reached out to them so we could dine there again in 2026 despite them being closed! Gastronomy experience: 2 thumbs up. Amazing ambience, creative incredible food, and love the vibe of the husband-wife restaurant. A MUST if you go to Montpellier. April 2025: Amazing small restaurant in Montpellier! You MUST make reservations here, as there is only one seating per night (I believe at 7:30pm). It's a small restaurant with amazing ambience - stone wall, small kitchen, quiet intimate dining experience. It's a wife-husband team: the husband is the server, the wife the artist in the kitchen, and the 7-course meal is picked for you and delicious. So glad we discovered this place for our first meal in Montpellier. It did not disappoint for French food and was definitely a two thumbs up!

In an intimate setting, we let ourselves be carried away by a delightful blend of flavors. We savored each 'glass' throughout this gastronomic poem, a reading experience that engages all the senses. A place you absolutely must discover.

A tiny, beautifully decorated room. Exceptional, refined, and flavorful cuisine prepared by a chef who loves her craft. Very friendly service from the chef's partner, full of humor and with an incredible Californian accent.

We know 9 Arts. This chef has invented a new one, a hybrid of others. In the presentation of her refined dishes, there's a touch of painting and sculpture, a great deal of poetry... it's beautiful! But what about the taste? A culinary exploration that's a little out of the ordinary, with a multitude of flavors that blend and harmonize perfectly. You can feel the passion behind each dish and, in conversation with her, a kind of dedication. What talent! A small, intimate establishment, you feel like you have a chef at home; but in their own space. The atmosphere is therefore incredibly welcoming. Congratulations and thank you for this wonderful experience.

A restaurant I discovered a few years ago, and whose consistency commands respect with each visit. The cuisine celebrates the ingredients, with a precise, seasonal, and remarkably coherent menu. Each dish reveals meticulous, delicate, and sensitive work. Nothing is showy: everything is just right. One perceives a culinary signature imbued with subtlety, mastery, and exacting standards. The menu evolves with the seasons, offering new discoveries with each visit without ever losing its identity. The pairings are clear, the flavors distinct, and the quality of the ingredients evident. An address that naturally ranks among my favorites.
