Atelier Gallus sur Paris

My friend and I came here for dinner our first night in Paris and loved it! I had seen several people online recommend L’Atelier du Marché, so we went ahead and made a reservation for dinner. About a 10-15 minute walk from Arc de Triomphe, it is in a good location. I absolutely loved the vibe of the restaurant. The menus were super fun, the vibes were restroom and chic, and I loved all the 70’s American music they were playing. Service was decent, I thought it could have been more attentive though. They offer a set price meal of a starter/main course or main course/dessert during both lunch and dinner. I found this to be a great option, especially for the price. Our food came out in a timely manner, but I thought we waited longer compared to other restaurants in the area. I ended up ordering the starter and plate for my meal. My starter came out first and I ended up ordering the French Onion Soup. They also gave us a complimentary basket of French bread when the soup arrived. The soup was a generous portion, topped with broiled comté cheese and baguette pieces. First time have authentic French Onion Soup and I can say this was magnificent! The soup had copious amounts of perfectly cooked onions, these cheese was layered on perfectly, and baguette absorbed the luscious soup so well! I would highly recommend this as a starter. About 10 minutes later my entree arrived. For my entree, I opted for the Sea Bass Fillet which came with seasonal vegetables. This was a simple yet very tasty dish. The sea bass was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The vegetables were also cooked nicely. Needed some salt, but so do most meals in France. A very balanced, fresh meal that is sure to please. I tried some of my friends mashed potatoes that came with her entree—and WOW. They were whipped with lots of butter, just heavenly! Overall, L’Atelier du Marché provided a very nice meal for us. We left full and very satisfied with our experience. They place was lively with great vibes. Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the aesthetic of the restaurant. I would definitely check this place out if you’re near the Arc!

I regularly come to this restaurant for lunch. It's always absolutely excellent. The service is always impeccable. Zoé is incredibly kind. And Arnaud, the owner, is always there. The food is homemade! The prices are reasonable and fair. I highly recommend it. If you're in Paris and you don't visit this restaurant, you haven't truly lived.

A very good experience! The dishes were delicious and the ingredients were high quality. The service was friendly and welcoming throughout the meal. The wait between courses was sometimes a little long. That said, the pleasant atmosphere and the quality of the food more than made up for it. We had a great time and will gladly return.

The this is the second visit here on our second Paris trip in a year, and while we usually always try new things, L’Atelier du Marche will be an “every trip” dinner choice. We got the house specialty to share, and the steak was cooked perfectly, the fries are delicious, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Very cute place in a quiet neighborhood street. The tuna tataki was only ok. I‘ve had better in Paris. Good selection of wines. The service was a bit sleepy, but kind.

If you are looking for authentic French multi-course cuisine near the Arc de Triomphe, I recommend this place. Please make a reservation.

We received excellent service from Zoé at L’Atelier du Marché! Her advice was perfect and made our experience even more enjoyable. We loved our evening from beginning to end. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a truly authentic French dining experience. A real gem!

It's definitely worth going. The atmosphere, service, and food are excellent!

We organized a family lunch (14 people) in one of the two upstairs rooms, which allowed us to enjoy a peaceful setting. The atmosphere is warm and the food excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. The staff was attentive and accommodating throughout the lunch arrangements. We highly recommend this restaurant, whether for a group or a romantic dinner for two!

Great food and service. Authentic French cuisine. We will return.
