Au Boeuf Rouge sur Hegenheim

We worked in the area years ago so returned to show our daughter what great places Alsace and Basel are. Au Boeuf Rouge was one of our favourites in before 2010 and thankfully hasn't changed. Still great food and service. It helps if you can speak a little French of course, but our host was very helpful and we had a great evening. Our daughter finished her meal which is not common. Thanks for your hospitality and great food.

Traditional restaurant as we like them: real "home" cooking with succulent meals, very clean toilets, a very friendly waitress and boss... Without hesitation we recommend this establishment, you will not be disappointed
