A restaurant discovered by chance with the family. We are welcomed with a big smile in a warm setting. The chef offers very good original dishes with high quality products! Thanks to the Chef.

We drove from Paris to Bayeux. Once out of Paris and settled in, we began thinking about lunch, While the autoroute had rest areas called "Aire de Service d'Autoroute" with McDonalds, that wasn't what I had in mind for lunch. I had envisioned a leisurely drive through the French countryside but found myself on a busy highway. So I took the next exit from A13 for Évreux and simply chose a direction, left. We came across Au Bon Accueil. That was just what we were looking for. No one spoke English and my Google Translate app struggled with the menu. Finally the waiter realized that we were having trouble and began to bring out prepared plates for us to choose from! It was the best meal we had in France - 63€. We rolled back into the car and proceeded to Bayeux.

A peaceful setting, gourmet catering with delicate and original dishes, a Chef who naturally comes to explain his passion and inform you... 👍 A good restaurant that deserves our return as soon as we return to Paris via the A13 motorway and the schedule is suitable.. 🤗

When entering reception, the rooms on the left are those of the gourmet restaurant, and the room on the right for the roadside restaurant, a place and almost two different restaurants. First of all, the welcome is excellent, the place lives up to its name. We were at the gourmet restaurant and had a great time. From the appetizers the tone is set: accuracy of cooking and harmonies, finesse and creativity, with the icing on the cake for the aesthetics of the dishes. Good choice of wines, even by the glass. Very professional service with a little touch of humor. In short, a great time and a great discovery. We will come back regularly.
