AU BON GRAIN sur Angoulins

Great restaurant, even if the service was a bit slow, but hey, we're on holiday! The galettes were excellent, the staff very friendly. The only downside was having fresh water on the table; otherwise, nothing to complain about.

We went there on Saturday, August 8th, and it was very busy. The galettes were very good, very well prepared, and appetizing. The staff was pleasant and smiling. The only downside was the long wait; we arrived at 7:40 pm and left around 10 pm for two galettes and two desserts. However, we were understanding, as the crêperie had been packed for three days and the staff weren't used to serving so many people. We will definitely go back; we ate very well, and the ti' punch and the orange wine with cognac were delicious! Thank you very much! (The photo shows the gourmet coffee I had for dessert, which was very generous and delicious, with seasonal fruit.)

Delicious crepes and galletes in a cute setting. Friendly staff happy to speak English and entertain our poor attempts to speak French. Definitely recommended.

I went with my girlfriend one evening. I ordered the daily special (Morteau sausage, mozzarella, mushrooms, fried egg, sun-dried tomatoes) and for dessert, the "beg meil" (buckwheat galette with butter and homemade caramel). It was very good, although the wait was quite long between ordering and being served. The dessert galette was really original; it was the first time I'd ever had a buckwheat galette for dessert.

I highly recommend the crêperie Au Bon Grain; the savory buckwheat crêpes are delicious, as are the sweet crêpes! The shaded terrace is perfect for lunch. The lunch menu is very affordable, and the owners, Paul and his wife, are friendly and welcoming!

A very pleasant setting to enjoy delicious galettes and crêpes, friendly and polite service that puts you at ease and allows you to fully enjoy the experience! We had a wonderful time!

I highly recommend this restaurant; it was our first time dining there, and we will definitely return. We received a very warm welcome from the servers and the chef, who checked on us throughout the meal to ensure everything was alright.
