Very good Asian restaurant, generous portions and inexpensive. I highly recommend it.

Given the reviews I expected better Pho soup. It wasnt bad at all it just didn't meet the expectations. Service was fast and staff friendly. Maybe next time I ll have different dishes

I've been a regular at this Vietnamese-Laotian restaurant for over 20 years. The first reward is being served by the welcoming owner, who's always ready to chat, especially given his excellent knowledge of oenology (he collects fine wines). Some of the other servers could certainly use a bit more professionalism... Then there's the menu, which holds some surprises: in addition to delicious classic dishes, there are some specialties. Try the fish wrapped in banana leaves, the fish soup—ask for it, you might get it on a day other than Tuesday—the superb banh kwon, the green and red curries, the excellent pat tai, the sublime and authentic beef paneng, the perfect sticky rice, and so on. Everything is cooked on-site with quality ingredients. For dessert, there are original ice creams in Asian flavors. The quality of the food hasn't changed; it's still as good and wholesome as ever. A major new feature in September 2023: the decor is new, welcoming, and brightly colored. Successful restoration of the stone walls of an 18th-century house! Well done! It's gained in space and light. Be careful not to let the prices skyrocket…

I saw reviews saying it was friendly, but I didn't feel at all. ㅠㅠ The male owner seemed too busy to be particularly friendly, and the older female server with short hair... I wondered if this was racism, or if she was just treating everyone like that because she didn't want to work. The food wasn't bad, just average. The lunch set (16.50 euros), which included coffee and a drink, was good value. However, the meat in the pho was really bad. They served raw meat (usually thin, about the size of a meat pancake). It should be thin enough to cook naturally in the broth, but they served short, thick pieces, smaller than a thumb, which didn't cook well and didn't match the texture. If you're planning on going to Songheung, be aware that there's a long wait. ㅠㅠ If I were you, I'd probably just wait and go to Songheung...
