Hello everyone, I've been eating there for years, at least once or twice a month, and the quality has always been excellent. Over time, I've had the chance to observe the owners and their staff, and I've never seen a cook with headphones on or gold jewelry around their neck. If you decide to go to La Porte du Bonheur, it's primarily for the quality of the food, the service that's always focused on the well-being of the customers, and the friendliness of the staff and owners. I've never gotten sick; on the contrary, I keep coming back for more. And for the price, it's one of the least expensive Chinese restaurants in Paris. Five-star value for money. So, go and see for yourself; you won't be disappointed.

Great Chinese restaurant. A few tables on the terrace on a quiet street, 300 meters from Montparnasse train station. Beautiful decor inside. The prices are reasonable, and above all, the food is delicious. The quality is consistent. I've eaten there dozens of times over the last 20 years and have never been disappointed… My son, who recently went with me, agrees. The staff is also friendly, and you can order takeout.

During my stay in Paris, I stopped by this beautiful restaurant near the train station. We were greeted warmly upon entering the restaurant and offered delicious soup while we waited for our dishes. Aside from their kindness and politeness, I must say they have excellent quality fish, and you can taste the freshness. If you truly love good, quality sushi, then this restaurant is for you. ❤️

A little trip to a peaceful parallel world, and a tranquil meal. A really lovely place. Quiet, cool, and the staff are friendly. Lots of older people who seem to be regulars. Spotlessly clean (including the restrooms).

We went for lunch and the overall experience was very positive, especially the ambiance and the staff's helpfulness towards tourists. 🍽️ Highlights: Food, atmosphere, and amenities Spectacular 3-course menu: We chose the set menu and it was a total success. Everything we were served was delicious, with well-prepared and flavorful portions. Perfectly cold beer: There's nothing better to accompany a good meal than a nice cold beer, and here they serve it at the perfect temperature. Authentic atmosphere: The place has that rustic and welcoming atmosphere typical of a traditional tavern. It envelops you from the moment you walk in. Excellent service and a great bonus for travelers: The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive at all times. They also offer a service that was a lifesaver: they store luggage for travelers, a huge plus if you're just passing through and want to enjoy the city or the food without carrying suitcases. 🌡️ The only drawback: The temperature The only downside to the experience was the temperature inside the restaurant. We went during a hot period, and the place doesn't have air conditioning, so it felt quite stuffy inside. An air conditioning system would make the experience perfect during the summer months. Conclusion A highly recommended place to enjoy a complete, delicious, and reasonably priced meal, served by lovely people. If you go on a very hot day, be prepared for some heat, but for the quality of the food and the friendliness (and the luggage storage!), it's totally worth the visit.
