Very friendly welcome with boss who describes the dishes. Crispy cuttlefish as a good starter, braised beef with spicy spices excellent, jia chang prawns very good. Good quantity. but a small bottle of tsingtao beer for 7 euros (coeff 7??) is really exaggerated. Very good Chinese restaurant.

A restaurant that will take you on a journey, to the land of flavors, fresh products, 2 men who love their job with exceptional kindness, an explanation of each dish, a little note of music to end the evening. Well done MR. we will come back for sure.

The place is intimate. The boss is adorable, he takes the time to explain each dish. We see that he loves his customers. The waitress is very pleasant and smiling. As for the cuisine, it is excellent and full of flavors. I will come back with great pleasure!

The best Chinese restaurant I have eaten in. Extraordinary flavors, impossible to classify the dishes, everything is excellent. Guaranteed culinary journey. Warm environment.

We tasted around ten dishes, each more succulent and surprising than the last. If you want to discover real Chinese cuisine, this is the restaurant for you. Quality products and homemade recipes. Few equivalents in France. Only one desire, to go back there. Congratulations to the entire team of this restaurant which we highly recommend. 5 stars is obvious. A delight.

How to travel zero carbon. Great dining experience. Homemade dishes, fragrant, spicy (just right). Service with a smile and the desire to share the passion for Asian cuisine. We enjoyed ourselves, everything was delicious, no false notes. This address was “prescribed” to us by our doctor. I confirm and recommend “Au Bonheur du Palais”. I'm going to come back with friends to discover the rest of the menu.

For me, exceptional. Words will fail me to describe the pleasure we had eating here. We took the formula: each dish was excellent, surprising, even delightful. Chinese cuisine at its best (don't come for the decor), which gives (or gives back) the impression (and desire!) of being in China, and which will delight those nostalgic for the Middle Country. The boss is welcoming and interesting, his passion is infectious, and he gave us a time that we will not forget. There were 5 of us: each of us can't wait to come back and eat here. I would happily deprive myself of two “just ok” restaurants to be able to treat myself to a dinner at Bonheur du Palais. If you are, like us, lovers of China, or if you simply like this cuisine, absolutely discover this restaurant. I no longer live in Bordeaux but I will make sure to come back to dine here every time I visit. Such restaurants are rare, they must be cherished. One remark however: I would have liked, for the formula, that everyone could choose their dishes, instead of being served Chinese style, "all together and we share". Maybe it was because we were a group? I have the impression that the quantities have suffered a little, especially given the significant price. Despite everything, it remains a very beautiful culinary experience.

Dinner in the evening, 2 people. Reservation : PLEASE NOTE, we booked online. The timetable is 7 p.m. but the restaurant only opens at 7:30 p.m. Atmosphere : First to arrive, we were very well received by the waitress and the waiter. The boss is very friendly and listens to his customers. The 2 rooms have a basic decoration but the essentials are not there. Meal : We took the formula at 50€/person. It is an identical choice for the table of 3 starters/2 main courses/1 dessert or 3 starters/3 main courses to share for 2. The rice is unlimited on request. The dishes are full of flavor, authentic Sishuan cuisine with its atypical pepper and chili peppers. We particularly appreciated all the starters chosen (see photos). Conclusion : We enjoyed ourselves and were full at the end of the meal but the price for the formula is excessive in our opinion despite the quality of the dishes cooked.
