Au Carreau des Halles sur Rouen

A meal with two of my sons, who are usually picky eaters. Everyone was happy. The dining room is quiet, the service excellent, quick, and above all, friendly. A restaurant I highly recommend for the quality of its menu, its daily specials, and its freshness. An institution and an excellent brasserie in Rouen. Bravo! 👏👏👏

The welcome was rather lukewarm; we waited a while without being served. After flagging down a waitress, we were finally able to have lunch. The meal was simple, but the service was quick.

A good place with a proper parking lot

The food is excellent and inexpensive. It's convenient when you're in a hurry. The service is very efficient but also very pleasant. The cuisine is very well executed, with classics like beef tartare, tripe, blanquette de veau, and deviled eggs—in short, everything to tantalize your taste buds. And after a final gourmet coffee, the bill is very light... Don't change a thing, especially your prices!

Excellent service and top-notch food; seeing the number of customers is reassuring. The only downside is the noise from the brasserie side; to avoid this, opt for the restaurant side – same dishes and same price. I recommend it.
