Great welcome, the food is excellent, I highly recommend it

We ate at Le Chant du Bois on a Friday evening, and we had an excellent meal. The dishes were delicious and generous, and the desserts were too! It was quite busy, but despite that, there was no wait; the service was efficient! The staff is very friendly and efficient. If we return to the area, we will definitely come back to your restaurant with great pleasure!

The welcome is as friendly as ever. The menu is very well balanced, the dishes are excellent, generously portioned, and the quality is consistently high. Don't hesitate to stop for lunch or dinner, whether you're on your way to Gérardmer or on your way back. One piece of advice to avoid disappointment: remember to call ahead and book a table.

What a beautiful place to eat! I think we were the only Dutch people in the restaurant tonight and we had a wonderful time. Not only was the food delicious, but they also made an effort to speak to us in English. The waiter Hugo spoke good English and explained everything we wanted to know about the food and much more. Together with Esteban, they almost turned it into a dinner show for us. We both ordered a pizza, which was already delicious. My daughter actually wanted grilled chicken, but because that wasn't available, she ordered a Margherita pizza. The pizzas were light, thin, and delicious in taste. My tuna pizza was also delicious. Furthermore, we had a drink and another delicious dessert. An exquisite XXL profiterole and a Hawaiian sundae with pieces of pineapple in it. To finish, a delicious drink on the house arrived. A lovely green liqueur, and that went down very well too. We had a very pleasant time, had our fill, and laughed a lot with the people who work there. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, even if you don't speak French very well. You are helped from all sides. If I could give 10 stars, I would have done so. Hats off to Au Chant du Bois, and especially Hugo and Esteban!!
