11/09/2026: While strolling through the streets of Brouage, we stumbled upon L'Escale du Roy. The restaurant doesn't look like much, but we were drawn in by its tempting menu. We received a very warm welcome, were seated on a shaded terrace, and the other diners were incredibly friendly. It was a truly pleasant experience, full of shared moments and human connection. As for the food, it was impeccable. Everything was delicious, generous, and of high quality. Our taste buds were delighted. We highly recommend it.

04/09/2026: A real find in Reims. Everything is built on top quality fresh Italian ingredients, and the Italian owner puts the sandwiches together with obvious pride and a lot of generosity. The result is the best panino I have had in this city, and easily good enough to make me come back before I leave. Highly recommended! 🇮🇹

09/08/2026: As I was leaving, I wondered, "Why isn't it full?" Rewind... But you might ask, what about the menu? Hold on! An original fast-food restaurant unlike any other. Proof: they seat you if you eat in the dining area. They even have a sense of humor, telling us we have to work by sorting our waste. But you might ask, what about the menu? I'm getting to that. But first, a quick stop at the reception. Because this is truly 5-star service! Bravo and thank you. Every customer is important, every request a priority. Hats off! But you might ask, what about the menu? The menu is original, offering a variety of dishes. It's original. But more importantly, it's incredibly delicious. In short, it's a must-try. And you'll want to go back again. There are few opportunities to find a place you absolutely love without breaking the bank. This is one of them. Hoping this review will help fill this restaurant even more. Highly recommended!

Here, you savor and enjoy the food... the slightly balding manager, Alexandre, welcomes you just as you are. Excellent selection of wines and Champagne. Lovely background music! What a great time. 10/09/2026: Fantastic from start to finish. La Petit Ourse is essentially a two person operation but you wouldn't realize it based on how beautiful and intricate the food can be. Charlotte who runs the front of the house operation is exceptionally warm and accommodating. The restaurant features multiple daily options including vegetarian ones and the dishes themselves are as beautiful as they are delicious. A must visit in Rennes and, honestly, one of my favorite meals in France period.
