Au Comptoir sur Ouistreham

We enjoyed our experience at the “Au counter” restaurant. We were very well received, friendly service and with a smile! We opted for the dish of the day (scallops and leeks), and a cheese burger. Two gourmet coffees to finish. A good value for money lunch! Little extra: we were accepted with our dog.

You have to go there for two reasons. The sympathy of the staff, from start to finish, but also for the kitchen. The menu is efficient, the dishes are without fuss, the tastes are clear and controlled. Finally, all products are fresh and made minutes.

I recommend this restaurant in Ouistreham if you are looking for homemade dishes! The hamburgers are very generous, the meat is good and fresh, the fries are homemade, the fish is well cooked and the dessert (chocolate fondant with caramel coulis) is excellent! The decoration is pretty, the service pleasant and friendly! Well, if I have to find a small fault I would say to serve bakery bread instead (and not molded baguette) and to season the pan-fried vegetables a little more to enhance the flavors! Bravo to you and thank you for this great meal! We look forward to coming back to your place when we are in Ouistreham!

Very quiet restaurant we were very well received. The starters are well presented, special ovation for the shank. I highly recommend this establishment, very warm and very pleasant.

I had never eaten such a delicious pork shank with honey sauce. It was soft, gelatinous, hearty just like I like. I will definitely come back there to taste old-fashioned and family dishes this winter because it really is real cuisine. Don't hesitate if you want authenticity.

Excellent dishes designed with fresh and local products, we absolutely do not regret having gone there last night :) An adorable and warm manager who only deserves to succeed, looking forward to coming back to the area!

A bit of a wait but it's worth it. Fresh dish and fresh meat from the butcher. Everything is homemade. Kind boss.
