Au Coq en Velours sur Aoste

A very good restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and quality service. The meat is good and well-cooked, although it doesn't particularly stand out compared to other establishments. Overall, however, it's very decent, even if the meal is rather expensive.

Family meal on March 15, 2026. The welcome was good, but the dishes weren't all excellent. Large portions, huge servings... The service was poor; some guests had to wait an hour to be served, while those who ordered a set menu received their two courses very quickly. A four-year-old was served last at 1:30 pm... why not serve the children more quickly so that -1) they eat and -2) they don't get bored? Large portions (too large), and the cooking needs improvement: the duck breast was undercooked, the roast lamb was overcooked... The owner came by "to check if everything was alright"... which was completely pointless. And despite our comments, a gesture from him could have redeemed the situation. We ordered a Chartreuse liqueur. Maybe six in total. "It's on the house," he said. But no. Nothing. The staff is very pleasant. Nothing to say, quite the opposite. Thank you for the visit, I won't be back.

The setting is very pretty, and the meat is excellent (see photos of pork pumas and Angus hanger steak).

The dining room is truly lovely and bright, and the staff is very professional. The dishes are excellent, perfectly cooked, and simply delicious. The meat is very good quality and plentiful. A wonderful discovery, as the place has a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Our third visit today. The food is still excellent and the service is super friendly. However, we were charged €15 for two dauphinoise potatoes... which we chose INSTEAD of the new potatoes! Especially since dauphinoise potatoes are NOT listed among the "side dishes"... There's plain mashed potatoes, truffle mashed potatoes, a duo of fries, and sauces... that's all! (from memory). We were offered a dauphinoise potato... we chose it... And for the second time, no salad... which was supposed to be included with the dish! We have to admit, it didn't go down well... We'll be back, but we hope for some kind of compensation...

We booked a table for Valentine's Day at this restaurant. Dinner was very good, and we ordered wine (recommended by the sommelier) that lived up to our expectations. We felt the background music wasn't appropriate for the occasion; it wasn't romantic enough. I recommend trying this restaurant for people who appreciate high-quality meat.

Excellent restaurant, I highly recommend it. We received a very warm welcome and both the service and the food were top-notch. The setting is also very lovely.

A very good experience at Brasserie des Sports. We had a very good meal. I had the butcher's cut, which was excellent, perfectly cooked and flavorful. My partner chose the rib steak, which was simply perfect. High-quality dishes, expertly prepared. We will gladly return.
