Au Gai Soleil du Mont Aiguille sur Chichilianne

Good location, quiet and pleasant, but the meal was not great, especially the dish offered in half-board (perhaps it was a bad day, the roast pork ratatouille was very limited in terms of taste and preparation). Fortunately, the breakfast was nice, but the croissants were not really all you can eat.

We had a very pleasant week with a very friendly welcome from the management and a super pleasant staff who took great care of us. And what about the cuisine with varied and tasty dishes in addition to being generous. The icing on the cake, the spa... upon returning from hikes, a real plus.

This hotel was a wonderful discovery: everything was remarkable: the welcome, the location, the kindness of the staff, the restaurant, the rooms, and the adjoining park. The spa right next door is a plus. We highly recommend this place and will be back with great pleasure.

A very friendly, eco-friendly 2-star mountain hotel, with a welcoming and friendly welcome, attentive staff, and very clean rooms. A bit small for luggage storage, but it's fine for a weekend. The meal at the hotel restaurant that evening was lively and enjoyable, and it was all very nice! So, it's a place to remember.

We came from Annecy by bike to climb Mont Aiguille… Arriving at Le Gai Soleil gave off a heavenly scent! The team seemed to have come together to take care of us and share this exceptional site. We enjoyed the peace and quiet on the large terrace, a delicious meal, a restorative night in a beautiful and comfortable room, and upon waking up to the wonderful garden by the water 🤩 The icing on the cake was the spa and the option of a professional massage that got us back in shape for the ascent of this legendary and marvelous mountain (Les mains du miracle 😉) It felt good to feel so much attention 🙏 We left on our bikes determined to return soon 🤩 Bravo and thank you

The hotel is very well located, at the foot of Mont Aiguille and close to hiking trails. The room is small but comfortable, and the service from all the staff members was excellent. A very good experience.
