Au Gout the D'antan sur Nice

05/05/2026: The place is beautifully decorated, with a calming atmosphere. Everything is done to ensure the cats are as comfortable as possible, with plenty of adapted equipment that allows them to move around at different heights. It's also very clean, which is a big plus in this type of establishment. The food is excellent, made with fresh, seasonal ingredients! I highly recommend it 😻

02/05/2026: One of the only cat cafés in the area. I came here specifically to satisfy my craving for cuddles, and it was well worth the trip. The food is fairly standard, with a decent selection of sweet dishes and drinks. The crepes, in particular, are very bland, so I recommend ordering something with them (chocolate, coulis, fruit, etc.). The atmosphere is very relaxed; you're there to take your time and let the cats wake up and interact on their own. Some are more affectionate than others, but all are very gentle and calm, and will let you pet them as long as you approach them gently. Maine Coons are still quite young and growing, and very jealous: if one sees you petting another cat, it will come and demand attention. In any case, ask permission before petting, and wait until the cats are awake. I savored my crepe and chocolate for a good 20 minutes before spotting an opportunity, but it was worth it. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
