Invited for a banquet, the service was impeccable from aperitif to dessert.
We loved everything from the appetizer to the dessert.
Our room was private and spacious.
The venue has very convenient parking.
We were able to go outside and the children could play under supervision.
This is my first time in Rosenau. Le Lion d'Or is a wonderful discovery. The terrace, with its solid roof, is very pleasant, overlooking the vegetable garden and greenery, and far from the noise of traffic; the atmosphere is very serene. During this heatwave, I took advantage of the €40 summer menu: zucchini gazpacho, grilled tofu, and floating island with morello cherry. The ingredients are fresh, expertly prepared, with subtle variations in texture and flavor. The restaurant also occasionally offers special weekend or evening menus featuring bouillabaisse, paella, or couscous. I'll try it next time!
A spontaneous stop at the Lion d'Or on our way back from the Petite Camargue.
My friends and I ordered asparagus with ham and potatoes, a light-as-a-cloud hollandaise sauce made with a siphon, mayonnaise, and homemade vinaigrette.
To finish, we had pistachio crème brûlée.
Everything was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented.
The service was attentive yet discreet.
14/09/2024: Very good lunch yesterday. Despite our delay, welcome. Menu of the day very good fish, well cooked, very good starter terrine and damson tart with excellent whipped cream. Price of starter main course and dessert for 19.50 more than correct (Coming from Brittany this price mainly concerns starter main course or main course dessert only) so nothing to say. Very nice, very clean interior. Great discovery
13/09/2024: The food is good but frankly too expensive it's gourmet restaurant prices in fact 2 people daily menus bland bolognese without flavor but my wife had the meat a treat. there are too many noises from the EDF workers screaming at table and who think they are alone in the restaurant
