There are plenty of nice bakeries in Bayeux but this was my fave for La Festive and friendly service.

Stopped by Au Moulin Doré and absolutely loved it. I picked up some mini quiches Lorraine for a road trip — they were amazing and I immediately regretted not buying more after I had my first bite. The macarons were also excellent, and the pain au chocolat was just as good. The staff were friendly, service was quick, and it was a big plus that they were open on a Sunday. Overall, a fantastic stop — highly recommended if you’re in Bayeux.

Coeur de Sushi

23/05/2026: What can I say... the sushi was simply incredible! My taste buds are still raving about it this morning. I came on a friend's recommendation (thanks, Léane!). I'm already planning to come back on Saturday for my TV dinner. Congratulations!!
08/04/2026: It was a wonderful experience trying real sushi for the first time, and undoubtedly the best sushi meal I've ever had. The sushi was perfect, as was the service. Thank you for this delicious meal.

03/06/2026: Excellent location if you want to visit the D-Day landing beaches. The American Cemetery, Sainte-Mer-l'Église, Colleville-sur-Mer, and Bayeux town center are all within walking distance. The room needs renovation. Breakfast is available upon reservation for approximately €15. Room service is minimal.
01/06/2026: Basic hotel that is ideal for visit not requiring hotel amenities - excellent price - 10 minute walk to train station, 15 minutes to downtown Bayeux - exterior entrance next to farm and horse breeder - good (not great) breakfast - room was clean, quiet, good bathroom / shower, no issues at all
