18/08/2026: A wonderful café, the owners are very friendly, and the specialty coffee is delicious. It has a lovely terrace, perfect for relaxing and enjoying life at a leisurely pace, right on the main pedestrian street. They also sell whole bean coffee to take away and filters for Aeropress and V60 brewers. I took some Aeropress filters because I'm on a road trip ☺️

11/08/2026: We recently dined here, and the entire evening and the meal were fantastic. The waitress even spoke German and pampered us wonderfully. The non-alcoholic cocktail was perfectly balanced, and we were already impressed by the amuse-bouche. Both the appetizer and the main course were phenomenal! The rosemary and thyme sauce with the meat was exquisite. And the dessert perfectly rounded off everything: It was a true work of art, both visually and in terms of taste. Thank you!

25/08/2026: Passing through Bayeux and originally from La Rochelle, we thoroughly enjoyed this relaxing moment savoring delicious crêpes. Excellent value for money, I highly recommend this crêperie.

16/08/2026: We arrived on August 15th at noon, two adults and two toddlers, yet we were welcomed without a reservation. They even offered us a high chair for our youngest. The servers were fantastic, the setting idyllic, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Honestly, congratulations to the whole team, we had a wonderful time, thank you 😊

29/08/2026: Everything was excellent, except for the two-menu option, which severely limited the choice. The wine selection by the glass was almost nonexistent.

27/08/2026: I was recently in Sardinia; the pizza there was just so-so. The pizzas from La Base were perfect, smelling delicious and perfectly topped. With a large glass of Birra Moretti, it was pure bliss! Highly recommended.

27/08/2026: While on holiday in Normandy, we decided to have some pizzas. They were absolutely fantastic, both the pizzas and the service! The lady who served us was incredibly kind; we appreciated her warm welcome and the fact that she took the time to chat with her customers. As for the pizzas, they were very generously topped and delicious—we couldn't finish them! They even offered to let us take the leftovers home, which is quite unusual. The Bretons thank you, and we won't hesitate to come back again!

29/08/2026: A beautiful, refined, and original menu, top-notch service with amuse-bouches and sweet treats! A feast for the eyes and the palate in a lovely setting just steps from the cathedral. Excellent value for money.

28/08/2026: We went there because of the positive reviews of this little restaurant, and I can confirm it for you too: go! The flavors are amazing, the dishes are beautifully presented, and the ingredients are high quality. The foie gras was incredible! And the price is very reasonable considering the quality. The only thing I could criticize is that the appetizer arrived a little too quickly; we hadn't finished our aperitifs. But I highly recommend it!

26/06/2026: This hotel was spot on. Located in the middle of town where you could easily walk to all restaurants. It was also steps away from meeting points for tours to Normandy which made life very easy. We arrived by train and walked to the hotel from the station..about 15 minutes.
