The place is nice. We preferred to sit outside, but it was too hot, so we went inside. It was just as hot inside. The lack of air conditioning was disappointing. We could barely endure it until we finished our meal. We went to try the onion soup, but it was a failure. It had a lot of bread in it, and the cheese didn't melt or tear. It didn't melt in your mouth as you chewed it. There were only a few onions in it. I mean, maybe that's how it's supposed to be, but it didn't suit my taste, to be honest. Since the rest of the menu was mostly pork, I didn't order anything else. My wife had mussels and liked them. We also tried the creme brulee, which was good too. The complimentary appetizer after the meal was lovely. Thank you.

We went to try the onion soup and creme brulee. It's a classic restaurant. We were pleased with what we ate. We could barely finish the soup between two people.

I love the fact that this iconic bistro - with its Art Deco meets Belle Epoque Parisian bordello style - was open 24/7 for over 60 years, until the Covid19 pandemic caused it to close its doors for the first time. And now, it's still open 21 hours a day!
I had lunch here with my husband, our teenage nephew and 2 friends and we all loved it!
Of course it's all about the piggy bits here and my husband (an offal lover) had to have "St Anthony's Temptation" a plate of crumbed pig's trotter, snout, tail and ear. Our nephew loved his first dish of bone marrow and the accompanying snails, and (not being so keen on offal) I was grateful that they had some excellent seafood too from a dedicated shellfish bar, including freshly-shucked tiny cockles and larger, firm, tasty carpet shell clams.
The dining room looks and feels like something out of a 1920s French movie, colourful and almost overwhelming in its opulent details.
Desserts were fun (and delicious) with crepes Suzette flamed at the table and a raspberry vacherin garnished with a cute little pink pig's head meringue being standouts - though the rum baba and coupe Suzette were delicious too!
Great selection of wine by the glass so everyone found something they enjoyed and, despite a busy lunchtime rush the staff were all friendly, patient and helpful. Very good value for money too.
Highly recommend and can't wait to come back to this wonderful piece of Parisian living history.

It was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, and we didn't have a reserved table, but there was still room for us. Thanks to Sebastian who served us, it was nice meeting you.

A wonderful discovery.
The Art Deco decor is very appealing.
As for the food: a Parisian brasserie just the way we like them.
On the menu: pork in all its forms.
I tried the pork mussels, Hortense style, which includes sausage meat and chorizo. It was excellent.
For dessert: a Suzette (without pork): excellent.
Professional and friendly service with a smile.

The onion soup, which they called very famous, was terrible... there were large pieces of bread in the soup... I couldn't taste any onions in the soup, I only saw one or two onions... the other main course wasn't bad... the service was good.

Gorgeous restaurant with good quality food. The taster plate was certainly an experience but I would recommend the pork ribs, which were delicious.

I hadn't eaten at this place before and I thought it was overrated! I think the one in Mexico is much better!
