We had a wonderful time at the restaurant "Au Pied des Marais"... A warm welcome... Wonderful dishes... A very attentive and friendly chef and attentive staff... I highly recommend it.

I feel very fortunate to have come across this restaurant while searching for a dinner reservation on vacation in Normandy. The food was delicious, the chef was so warm and welcoming and came and spoke to all the tables during dinner. I had the house cocktail, le PDM, and it was refreshing and tasty. Highly recommend stopping in here. We got the chefs recommended meal and couldn’t be happier with his choice. We drove an hour from where we were staying to have dinner here and I would do it again!

A setting away from the crowds, you feel truly welcomed! The staff is friendly, the sommelier offers excellent advice (he knows the extensive wine list very well), and the Chef himself takes the time to chat with his guests. He leads a team that creates cuisine that elevates flavors with exquisite finesse. Don't make the same mistake I did: don't just go on the last night of your stay, or you'll experience the intense frustration of having dined there at the last minute. Go on both the first and last nights! It's not just a restaurant, it's a gastronomic haven! Many thanks again to the entire team.

We booked a table this Friday at 7:30 pm at the restaurant Au Pied des Marais. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the chef himself with a warm handshake.
We chose the six-course tasting menu: fresh, delicious, and high-quality dishes. Special mention goes to the Châteaubriant, perfectly cooked over a wood fire in the fireplace.
I also want to thank the chef for accommodating my specific requests: replacing the vegetables with fries and a salad, and preparing my dessert, a molten chocolate cake, with a special "well-done" cooking method.
We had a wonderful time at the table, with attentive and high-quality service for every course. A truly delightful experience that we wholeheartedly recommend!
