A setting away from the crowds, you feel truly welcomed! The staff is friendly, the sommelier offers excellent advice (he knows the extensive wine list very well), and the Chef himself takes the time to chat with his guests. He leads a team that creates cuisine that elevates flavors with exquisite finesse. Don't make the same mistake I did: don't just go on the last night of your stay, or you'll experience the intense frustration of having dined there at the last minute. Go on both the first and last nights! It's not just a restaurant, it's a gastronomic haven! Many thanks again to the entire team.

We booked a table this Friday at 7:30 pm at the restaurant Au Pied des Marais. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the chef himself with a warm handshake.
We chose the six-course tasting menu: fresh, delicious, and high-quality dishes. Special mention goes to the Châteaubriant, perfectly cooked over a wood fire in the fireplace.
I also want to thank the chef for accommodating my specific requests: replacing the vegetables with fries and a salad, and preparing my dessert, a molten chocolate cake, with a special "well-done" cooking method.
We had a wonderful time at the table, with attentive and high-quality service for every course. A truly delightful experience that we wholeheartedly recommend!

A pleasant setting, with a calm and relaxed atmosphere, ideal for a leisurely meal (thanks to the fireplace). The service is friendly and attentive, making this a truly wonderful experience. The dishes themselves are flavorful, generous, and offer balanced and surprising flavors.
All this at a price that is more than reasonable for the quality. Above all, the attention given to customers is always the priority, a guarantee of a truly high-quality restaurant. We will return with immense pleasure!

Warm welcome, exceptional chef who is attentive to his customers, delicious dishes, meats cooked over a wood fire. Highly recommend the stuffed pig's trotters, frog legs, fish, meats, and desserts.
Unbeatable value for money.
