Au pied des marais sur Varaville

I just had a wonderful family gathering at this charming restaurant, which had been reserved exclusively for us. I can only express my complete satisfaction with the service provided. The atmosphere is very welcoming, with Chef Thierry always smiling and attentive to his guests. The cuisine is simply refined and delicious, with meats cooked to perfection in the magnificent fireplace in the dining room. The pace of the meal was perfect, with very efficient staff who allowed us ample time to savor the different dishes and enjoy pleasant conversation. Last but not least, the restrooms are very clean and well-maintained. In conclusion, go there with complete confidence; you won't be disappointed. Thierry Dhénin

Delicious food, a wonderfully warm atmosphere in the restaurant with its open fireplace where the owner sears the meats 😍, and impeccable service and welcome! I highly recommend it.

A huge thank you to the chef for his attentiveness, explanations, and recommendations. The pig's trotter was excellent. And the icing on the cake was the special touch he gave me for my birthday (and it was my first time there). My wife and I were delighted, and we will definitely be back. Thank you again to the "great" chef. See you soon!

Creative and high-quality cuisine. Attentive service. A restaurant to discover on your next visit to Cabourg.

A truly wonderful evening. The carpaccio was superb, fresh, and perfectly balanced, and the meat was cooked to perfection. The dessert was incredibly flavorful with a refreshing touch. The atmosphere is exceptionally beautiful, especially with the open fireplace. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the warm and welcoming owner gives the restaurant a very special charm. We will definitely be back!

A very warm welcome. All the staff were smiling and very attentive. The owner takes the time to talk with his guests. I highly recommend it.

A very pleasant experience, impeccable service, and flawless cuisine.

A gourmet restaurant that's truly worth the detour! ❤️ We came thanks to Sophie, the cheesemonger from Maison-Alfort, who introduced us to this place through a TikTok video. And frankly, I absolutely don't regret our choice! The quality of the ingredients is remarkable, and the cuisine is of a very high standard. The menus are original, sophisticated, and perfectly executed. A huge congratulations to the chef, who is equally skilled in the kitchen, the dining room, and at the reception. A truly remarkable person: down-to-earth, humble, passionate, and extremely professional. We loved this experience and had a wonderful day thanks to him. A fantastic discovery that I recommend without hesitation! 👏 Well done to the whole team! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After a family visit, we were pleasantly surprised by the flavors. The owner is welcoming and the servers are friendly and smiling. Admittedly, the bill isn't the same as a typical restaurant, but my palate will remember it for years to come. A big thank you to the chef who truly knows how to work with flavors. A great discovery from start to finish. A big thank you to the entire team.

An extraordinary experience, pure enjoyment! You can feel the passion and dedication of the owner and his team as they pamper their guests. Thank you so much!
