A lovely restaurant that seemed to be run by a young couple, where the food was really exceptionally good. A generous buffet, a choice of andouillette or an enormous bavette steak for the main course with a great gratin dauphinois, and pudding at a very good price on the menu of the day. There was quite a wait to be seated, but it was well worth it.

After visiting Saint-Benoît-sur-Loire, we found this charming little restaurant.
It was past 1 p.m. and we were worried we wouldn't be able to get a meal, but after a short wait, we were warmly welcomed and served very quickly.

The food is simple but very good quality, and everything is homemade. A buffet of starters, a daily special, and dessert for €17. The service is excellent, and the owner is very friendly.
