Passing through Nîmes, we stopped at this restaurant because of the lovely table on the sunny terrace and the incredibly friendly welcome from the manager and the staff. I don't understand the negative reviews. There were three of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed our bourride, gardiane, and sirloin steak. The food was excellent, and the dishes were served piping hot. We will definitely return, and our tip reflected our appreciation for this restaurant.

Friendly welcome. The bull stew with Camargue rice was very good. The bull steak was good quality. Good value for money. Recommended.

There were not many places open so we chose to go here! Overall I thought the experience was okay. Not sure what the bad reviews are about. We ordered two ‘pieces de boeuf’, the steaks were cooked saignant, we had ratatouille, salad and fries with it. The meal was decent for the price. It came quickly. It was not the best piece of meat ever (thin, cheap) but you can’t expect too much when you pay the price we paid, and it filled our stomachs. I also had an aperol spritz and it was good. Service was friendly.

20/02/2026: The cuttlefish and octopus duo was excellent, very well cooked and accompanied. The complimentary trio of desserts was very good. The service was very pleasant.
